History:

Trolls:

Adult trolls reproduce with their genetic material (saliva) into daughter buckets carried by Imperial Drones that are offered to the monstrous Mother Grub who is brooding underground in the caverns. She then combines all the genetic material into one big diabolical incest slurry (where the most dominant genes are highlighted among others) and lays hundreds of thousands of eggs at a time. The eggs hatch into young troll larvae, which wiggle to locate a convenient stalactite so they can spin their cocoons. Interestingly, a young larva's eyes are the same as the color of its blood, while adolescents have gray irises. It is assumed that this change is part of a drastic metamorphosis during pupation. For unknown reasons, a number of larvae are sacrificed (to make paint).

Trolls-2:

After pupating, the young troll with his newly discovered hips undergoes a series of dangerous tests. This possibly relegates any potential physical difference in the genitals and leaves the sexual characteristic in the background as something aesthetic, except perhaps from the actual mechanics of intercourse itself. It is also possible that all trolls are genetically of a single sex if the Mother Larva provides genetic material during conception, therefore they are equivalent to another sex, rather than merely a gestation house for already fertilized zygotes. Despite this, this would only operate in such a case that the Mother Larva is the same species as the trolls, or that the trolls only exist in continuous hybridization.
