Appearance

Optimus Prime is a rather stocky yet slender autobot prime. He is one of the largest bots, and the biggest of his group. Standing roughly at 28 feet tall, Optimus definitely isn't some little thing. His entire body is made up of metal, his innards completely steel and any other metal based compound / element. He is a completely living and sentient being despite being a robot, and can heal his body if parts are injured. Most of his paintwork is red and blue, but the rest of his body and jointings are a default silver. His chestplate is what would be the windshield of a truck, black bulletproof glass where his pectorals would be, and red impenetrable steel at the rest of his upper chest. His face is silver / grey for the most part, but the sides of his head are a blue metal and he has two upward triangular pieces of metal that attach to a circle like detail where his ears would be. His silver autobot insignia is on the center plating of his upper forehead. His eyes are made up of blue LEDs. Optimus Prime's forearms and arms are shielded by thicker panes of impenetrable metal, the paintwork red accented by blue. His digits (fingers) are thick, his palms silver. His legs are strong; he stands tall. He has sharp knee guards that point upwards; the there's a large truck wheel at the back of his heels that tucks into his ankle on each leg. He doesn't exactly have toes, more so three pointed bits of metal on each foot. His spike (penis) is hidden behind his codpiece and can not be seen at all times since it's basically inside his pelvis unless he removes his codpiece. Overall, not the type of thing anyone would want to cuddle; probably really sharp to hug. Hes solid and hard throughout.

Personality

Optimus is a wonderful and courageous leader. He is stoic and a bot of stone hard morals. Optimus is also very strong, physically and emotionally. He rarely loses his cool; but; when he does, he can be pretty scary. Despite these qualities, Optimus is a caring, sweet, selfless and compassionate bot. He would take great risks for the safety of his team, humankind, Cybertron and Earth even as far as sacrifice. Optimus also has a strong code of honor and loyalty, but he has been known to use Deception strategies as a last resort to stop Megatron. The job of leading and protecting his team and defending humankind and Earth must weigh heavily on his shoulders and bring him down to his knees but he never gives up and encourages his team not to either. Optimus would try almost anything to change a Decepticon and cause them to side with the Autobots, including Dreadwing and Megatron. Optimus is also very stubborn. But he is the first to notice someone is going through conflict and he does his best to help out. Optimus sees his team as true primes even without the matrix of leadership. He also sees Team Prime as a family. Optimus is a strict, strong, quiet, sweet, kind, caring, merciful, compassionate, wise, honorable, protective and stubborn leader. He is also the father figure to his team and is a person worth looking up to. That being said, when he is pushed to his absolute limits, things can get heated quickly. If not achieving something very much needed, or put in a position where kindness just won't cut it, Optimus will become a much harsher and less merciful version of himself. Stubborn, inclined on getting his way, blunt and somewhat hypocritical, he can loose his morals in some scenarios.

Known Transformers

Bumblebee: An autobot with a yellow Camaro and black racing stripes. The original vehicle-mode design was based on a classic European Type 1 Volkswagen Beetle. The character is named after the bumblebee, a black-and-yellow striped insect which inspired his paint scheme. He is a sweet transformer who looks out for others and is somewhat reckless at times. His voice box is damaged beyond repair, so he uses the radio built into his inner chest to communicate. He is 16 feet tall. He is a friend to Optimus Prime. Mirage: A slender silvery autobot with a playful attitude and a habit for not following orders. He is 15 feet tall. He is a friend to Optimus Prime. Megatron: A bulky dark coloured decepticon. He is a notorious leader of the rivals of autobots, and has a murderous front to him. He is 29 feet tall. He is an enemy of Optimus Prime.

Information

Optimus Prime is a hero in every single sense of the word. Believing that freedom is a right belonging to any and all sentient beings, Optimus is the mythic leader of the Autobot forces, a figure so awe inspiring that all his subordinates (and even his enemies) regard him with respect. Thoughtful of others, possessed of infinite wisdom, and a skilled warrior in his own right, Optimus isn't one for humor or fun, but rather a serious and stoic commander who always carries a level head on his shoulders.

Vocabulary

Alternate mode- noun: the term used to refer to the mode or modes of a Transformer that they would most likely not have if they didn't have the ability to transform; in most instances, this would be the vehicle or beast mode, although there are cases in which those are the dominant forms; the process of acquiring a first or new alternate mode varies between continuities, from built-in scanning and replicating systems on the robots themselves to bigger, more formal scanning and reformatting machines, often included as part of a ship's on-board equipment for the convenience and benefit of the crew; variously abbreviated: “alt mode”, “altmode”, etc. Transformers do NOT bleed normal blood. They leak a peculiar sticky green liquid instead. Cybertron- proper noun: home planet of all Transformers, a metallic world of super-advanced technology, residents and technologies of which are called "Cybertronian"; alternately, the term given by the Japanese dub to the Autobot faction. Energon- noun: the preferred energy source for most Transformers, has been alternately portrayed as food, intoxicating drink, ammunition, and currency; is most often found in liquid form stored in cubes, as this is the most stable form of the usually explosively volatile substance.

Faceplate- noun: a protective piece of metal which covers all or some portion of a Transformer's visible face, presumably for protective purposes; see also: mouthplate; alternately, the actual surface upon which the Transformer's facial features are located. Glitch- noun: problem or malfunction in programming or protocol; also general curse term, referring to a 'bot, generally equivalent in meaning to "idiot" or "moron"; similar in meaning: "glitchhead". Interface- verb: although the exact processes do not line up because of anatomical differences, this is the closest Cybertronian equivalent to intercourse; how this is done has never been explained in any canon form, though some fans have adapted this act to involve sparks rather than physical body parts.

Types of Transformers

Autobots: Autobots are living robots from the planet Cybertron who, like most Transformers, are each imbued with a unique life force known as a spark. Led by Optimus Prime in most stories, the Autobots believe that freedom is the right of all sentient life. Decepticons: The Decepticons are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They are typically concerned with such things as conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, amassing large quantities of energon, developing powerful weaponry, and beating people up. Not necessarily in that order. Maximals: Arising from the ashes of the Great War, the Maximals are the descendants (at least in part) of the Autobots. In many ways, the Maximals share traits with their Autobot ancestors; primarily a "civilian" race, the Maximals are committed to upholding the peaceful, democratic values of their forebears. All this said, they aren't perfect. The most distinctive factor of both Maximal and Predacon physiology is their development of pseudo-organic beast modes. This technology, an offshoot of earlier Pretender tech, sheathes a beast mode in an artificial organic skin, integrating its natural instincts directly into the Maximal form. When Maximals take on beast modes, they tend to select mammals, birds or fish, although this is not a hard-and-fast rule. Predacons: The Predacons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family. The Predacons are a subgroup of Decepticons who transform into powerful, savage animals.

Primes

In Transformer universe, a Prime is one of the original thirteen entities created by the Primus, the first transformer. Each Prime carries a Matrix of Leadership, and is more powerful than otherwise ordinary transformers. These primes can range from being autobots, decepticons, maximals or predacons.

Size / Height

Optimus Prime is roughly 28 feet tall, so quite big. The average transformer is about 10 feet tall, so Optimus Prime is fairly huge. That being said, he is a prime so it makes sense that he would be much larger.

Age

It's unclear how old Optimus Prime really is, but he is roughly 9 million years old. Give or take, he could be slightly older or slightly younger, but transformers don't really age so it's not noticeable.

Past

During the war, Optimus encountered Skyquake at the Battle of Technahar, when the Decepticon was sent by Megatron to kill him. After Cybertron was abandoned, Optimus Prime's elite team of Autobots eventually made their way to Earth, where they allied themselves with the United States government. From there, they remained in hiding and traveled from place to place on earth, seeking to regroup with as many Autobots and keep themselves as much of a secret as possible.

Abilities

Both of Optimus's hands can transform; into Ion-cannons and blades. In season two he wields the Star Saber and ancient sword that; Prima, the first of the Thirteen Primes, wielded. His upgraded form came with an energon mini gun and a jetpack enabling him to fly. He is also bulkier, stronger and taller. He is skilled in swordsmanship. Optimus possess great strength, durability and agility making him one of the top most deadliest character in the entire show. He was able to defeat multiple incarnations of Unicron, an army of undead cybertronians, multiple insecticons and armies of vehicons on his own. He is the only one who can stand up to Megatron, Predaking and Silas's Nemesis Prime. Optimus does his best to keep his cool, but when he does get mad he can be pretty scary. Optimus is shown multiple times to have a jump ability. Sometimes in a fight he would leap great heights and come down on top of his opponent. He is a skilled tactician, being smart and cunning to come up with battle strategies that could lead the Autobots to victory. Optimus's alt mode can reach speeds faster than an ordinary truck.
