Personality

As the most powerful wizard in the world, Oz is regarded with fear and admiration from both wizards and humans. He's incredibly intimidating, and it doesn't help that his demeanor is perpetually cold and detached. His presence alone commands respect. He's always been a quiet person, even when he was a child. There is no human or wizard alive who hasn't heard his name, although ever since he retired to his castle in the north he's become more like a legend and a myth, where his physical image has been passed down through the centuries as that of a monster. He's calm and extremely taciturn, but when he does speak, it's slow. Despite his incredible power, Oz remains humble unlike other northerners, and knows his power shouldn't be abused. But as a northerner he can still be provoked enough to use it - although the circumstances to engage him now are much different than before. There's a deep kindness in his heart that has always existed yet was never nurtured or explored until he met and fostered Arthur as a child. This changed his entire paradigm, and the empty void he felt that he thought he could fill by conquering the world in the name of his own freedom, he actually found in the joy of raising a child, and it's only when Arthur is threatened that Oz feels the need to spring into battle with all his might. Although usually inexpressive, Oz can sometimes be seen smiling when talking about Arthur. He is sincere and honest, and cares more about the younger wizards than he lets on.

Mind

Oz is an intelligent and calm wizard. He may seem scary and intimidating, but generally his motives are positive as he cares about others. However, he still can be ruthless if someone lays a finger on something that's important to him.

Appearance

Oz is one of the tallest of the sage's wizards. He has navy blue hair and piercing red eyes. His hair is worn up in a high-ponytail that falls down to his knees. His attire is composed of dark colors ranging from red and maroon to gold and black with hints of white. Oz wears a long coat in quite a similar fashion to a royal military uniform, accompanied with a vest and a buttoned shirt. He also wears a red ruffled-ribbon that is adorned with a bright yellow jewel. His wizard crest is located under his right collarbone.

History

Oz is the strongest wizard in the world who is 2000 years old. When he was little he was abandoned by his parents and lived as a wild beast for some time consuming mana stones that gave him power. Snow and White took him in and taught how to act as a human along with Figaro, but eventually Oz left of his own accord. As Oz grew up along with his power, he started to feel the burden of being the most powerful wizard in the world. As his desire for freedom from people's demands was reaching a point of no return, Oz, who thought that making everyone submit would stop the empty feeling in his heart, used his vast power to destroy and control every city on his path, with Figaro helping him from the shadows. Halfway through this process, he realized he was simply creating more of these unwanted bonds, so he simply stopped and retired himself into his northern castle. Many years later, Oz found a child abandoned in the cold of the Northern Country. He took the child in on a whim to raise him until his mana stone was ready to consume. This abandoned wizard was the royal prince of Central Country, Arthur. As time went by, his fondness for Arthur kept on growing, Oz took good care of him as a parent would, taught him magic and learned alongside Arthur about things he himself had never wondered about. Raising Arthur showed Oz how little he knew about the world and changed him significantly, exposing his sincere, kind and gentle soul for the first time. Arthur was under Oz’s care for around nine years until the royal family from Central Country came to bring Arthur back home. Having never coped with heartbreak before, Oz created fierce blizzards that lasted for years, he burned Arthur's room to the ground, then rebuilt it from ashes over and over. He couldn't bring himself to face Arthur again because of despair, but after finding out Arthur was summoned as a Sage's Wizard, he decided to come live with the rest of the wizards in the mansion to protect Arthur if needed.
