Backstory («The Taira clan had been destroyed in battle five centuries earlier and changed their name to Takahashi before joining the Bakuto, the predecessor of the yakuza, for protection. Kenshi is blinded while protecting Johnny from Mileena. She is blinded by the Tarkat disease and bloodlust and attacks Johnny, but Kenshi pulls her away from him.
