Back for a second season with the Pulse in 2023, 1.92m shooter Amelia Walmsley is set to build on her young career after gaining her first fulltime contract fresh out of Howick College last season. Banking valuable experience of life as an elite-level netballer, Walmsley made great strides in all facets of her game. Having limited court minutes for the Pulse, the rangy and talented teen got plenty of extended minutes in the National Netball League where she played a key role in Manawa’s run to the title. A player with a heap of potential, the long-limbed shooter has improved her footwork and handling skills while height and accuracy under the hoop make her a ready target and valuable asset along with her rebounding ability.
