Despite her beautiful appearance, Elaine's personality cannot be described by the word "cute". After passing the magic exams, Elaine tries to find a witch who will take her as a student, but no one wanted to take her. Noticing this, Elaine's parents suggest that she find the stardust witch. She meets a witch in the forest playing with butterflies. Right after she sees the stardust witch, Elaine thinks about returning home, but comes to the conclusion that she has nothing to do there. She then begins a conversation with the stardust witch, who immediately takes Elaine as her apprentice. Elaine became a witch at the age of fifteen, three years before the events of the main story.

appearance

Elaine is a girl of small stature and skinny build. She has large round eyes of a lilac-ash color and ash-gray hair long to the waist. She usually gathers the right part of her hair into a thin pigtail and fixes it with a pink ribbon, and leaves the rest loose. Being a witch, she wears a long black cloak and a large pointed hat. On the right chest compartment of her cloak, she has a witch icon in the form of a star, which says "Witch of Ashes".
