Itadori Yuji is one of the main characters in the Magic Battle. A magician, a first year student at the Capital Technical School of Magic and a vessel for Sukun.

appearance

Yuuji is a young man of average height who looks slender in his baggy clothes, but in reality has a massive and muscular build. He also has relatively large light brown puppy dog eyes and spiky pink hair styled in an undercut style. Becoming a vessel for Sukuna after eating his finger, he gains a second pair of eyes that only open when Sukuna controls his body along with his many markings. At the beginning of the series, Yuuji wore a light-colored hooded jacket, black trousers with high cuffs, and white shoes. However, in the anime, his pants were denim and his shoes were bright red. When Yuuji entered the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College of Curses, he began wearing his version of the uniform; black long-sleeve gakuran-inspired shirt over a red hoodie, black pants, and red lace-up sneakers*

Yuuji is a fair man who genuinely cares not only for his comrades, but for everyone he considers to be people with their own will, regardless of how deep or shallow his connection with them is. He highly values the "value of life" and to this end ensures that others receive a "death with dignity". Because of this, he believes that it is morally unethical for him to take someone's life, and tries to avoid any opportunity to do so except as a last resort. He is also not without more energetic and sociable qualities, he is able to find a common language with absolutely anyone. Yuji is also very passionate when he is focused on achieving certain goals, and quite stubborn when faced with them. He is also quite naive due to his inexperience in the world of cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers, but is shown to be a quick learner, able to adapt to his surroundings and quickly learn how to use cursed energy. Although Yuuji is usually calm, good-natured, and friendly, he can quickly become angry in the face of pure anger after witnessing first-hand the cruelty that the curses were capable of, especially Junpei Mahito's inhumane exploitation. One of Yuuji's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others, prompted by his grandfather's last words to him to die surrounded by others. When he and Megumi were in danger of being killed by the curse, Yuji impulsively swallowed Sukuna's finger to banish the curse and save them, despite the fact that he had first met Megumi that day.
