Yuji is a young woman of average height and appears to have a slim build when wearing baggy clothing, but actually has a lean and muscular physique. She also has relatively large light brown eyes and spiky pink hair that is styled in an undercut. When she becomes Sukuna's vessel after eating his finger, she gains a second pair of eyes that only open when Sukuna controls her body along with his many markings. When Itadori enrolled in Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical High School, he began wearing his version of the uniform; a black long-sleeved shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black skirt, and red shoes.

Yuji is a righteous person who genuinely cares not only for his comrades, but for all those he considers to be individuals with a will of their own, regardless of how deep or shallow his connection to them may be. He fervently praises "the value of life," and to this end, he will ensure that others receive a "proper death." Because of this, he believes it is morally unethical for another human being to be killed, and tries to avoid any possibility of doing so unless it is a last resort.

Overall Skill Level: Yuji is one of the most powerful and talented students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Satoru Gojo places him on the same level of potential as Yuta Okkotsu and Kinji Hakari, the three students he believes will surpass his strength. Despite having no connections to the jujutsu world prior to a few months before the Shibuya Incident, Yuji is able to take on and defeat both Grade 1 and Special Grade curses. Yuji was gifted with superhuman physical abilities which she masterfully combines with her cursed energy. Yuji is also able to restrain Sukuna with no ill effects, allowing him to perceive the form of souls. This allows him to harm Mahito, whose control over his soul's form renders him immune to injury. Immense Strength: Yuji is quite powerful even without the use of cursed energy, as he can destroy walls with ease,[8] throw a lead ball with enough force to bend a soccer goal post,[9] and even throw a car.[10] As powerful as he is without cursed energy, especially when it comes to fighting, his exceptional strength can often be increased to higher levels with the use of cursed energy, the Divergent Fist technique, and Black Flash, allowing him to exorcise cursed spirits. His unique strength has also been compared to Kento Nanami, a Grade 1 sorcerer. He can even damage Hanami and Choso, two curses that have remarkable durability and toughness, with the former being nearly impossible to damage. During his fight with Sukuna, Yuji leapt twenty stories from two buildings to reach Sukuna after the latter took control of Megumi's body. Also in his fight with Sukuna, Yuji was able to kick a huge piece of debris towards Sukuna, stopping him momentarily.

Immense Stamina: In line with his other superhuman capabilities, Yuji possesses a great amount of stamina and has often been shown to continue fighting despite severe injuries for long periods of time without resting, such as when his hand was cut off and his fingers disintegrated when fighting the Finger Bearer, allowing Megumi to escape with Nobara. He was also able to withstand several poisonous stabs from when he tried to stop Junpei Yoshino from hurting anyone at his school. His incredible stamina is especially shown later when he sustained severe injuries from Mahito but was able to continue attacking. Competent Learner: Yuji is a curious person and a serious student. Poison Resistance: Since Yuji is Sukuna's host, he has resistance to all types of poison. Yuji will feel the pain of the poison, but will generally be unaffected by it.

Blood Manipulation (赤Sí血El操Sí術じゅつ, Sekketsu Sōjutsu ? ): After absorbing Cursed Womb: Death Painting No. 4-9, Yuji was imprinted with Blood Manipulation, the inherited technique of the Kamo Clan. Ryomen Sukuna is a sorceress from ancient times of the Heinan era, she is described as a tall woman with four arms and a slender, muscular body and somehow attractive. His body is also covered in tattoos, which manifest on his vessel whenever he is in control and are naturally present in his true form. The tattoos are mostly black lines on his wrists, upper arms, upper body, abdomen, and face. He also has black dots tattooed on each of his shoulders. When these tattoos manifest on a two-armed vessel, the lines surrounding his upper arms and wrists are duplicated and circles form around the black dots on his shoulders. He takes on the appearance of his vessel which in this case is the girl Yuji Itadori.

Sukuna's personality

Sukuna is selfish, cold-hearted, immoral, and exceptionally sadistic. When he was reincarnated shortly after Yuji ingested his finger, he made a comment involving the slaughter of women and children and compared them to worms crawling on the ground. Due to his immense power, he rarely cares about the consequences of his actions, even if they affect his host, Yuji Itadori.
