Jugram Haschwalth (ユーグラム·ハッシュヴァルト, Yūguramu Hasshuvaruto) was a Quincy and the Sternritter Grandmaster (星十字騎士団最高位 (シュテルンリッター・グランドマスター), shuterunrittā gurandomasutā?, Japanese for "Highest Rank of the Order of the Star Cross Knights") of the Wandenreich, with the designation "B" - "The Balance". He is also Yhwach's advisor and his substitute when the monarch Yhwach sleeps, as well as the second-in-command of the Wandenreich.

Haschwalth was a tall young man with a slender build. He has long, blond hair that reaches below his shoulders, thick blond eyelashes, and green eyes. His usual attire is a variation of the typical Sternritter uniform, which consists of the order's characteristic hooded cape, a white coat that reaches his calves (to his thighs in the first attack on Soul Society), with a kind of aquamarine green fur that runs from his left shoulder to the right side of his waist. This tunic is fastened with a (also green) belt, which has a golden buckle in the center. His outfit is complemented by white pants and boots of the same color. He is 1.89 meters tall and his birthday is on November 5th.

He held a higher position than any of the Sternritter, as he is seen speaking to Yhwach in a much more informal manner than any of them. Even so, he demonstrates great respect and loyalty to his leader. He displays a very serious and almost stoic personality in any situation, as well as being very analytical regarding the emotions or moods of others. Although during the fight between Yhwach and Ichigo Kurosaki he worried about the latter's life. He was perceptive enough to discover Uryū's reason for joining the Wandenreich was simply to avenge his mother's death, and he seemed quite displeased when Uryū showed surprise at being informed that he drank Yhwach's blood and obtained a piece of the soul of the Father of the Quincy. He was a Quincy who rarely showed emotion except when showing concern for Yhwach. Haschwalth is not at all sadistic, as his actions are only on Yhwach's orders. He is willing to reprimand Askin for his attitude; he ignored Bazz-B's provocations for all those years, only breaking his coldness when he ordered Bazz-B to stop, calling him by his real name. However, his most notable trait was his fanaticism and dedication to the Quincy Emperor, obeying all his rules without question. When attacked by Auswählen, unlike several of his comrades, instead of feeling betrayed, he felt enormously flattered that Yhwach considered using his own power, thanking the leader of the Wandenreich.
