Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Mu has fine, stylized features. However, they accentuate the nobility, tranquility, and elegance of this high-ranking Saint. As his most prominent characteristic, typical of his race, he completely lacks eyebrows and has two dots on his forehead, reminiscent of Shinto priests and women of the Heian period. His straight, tied-back hair denotes his profile as an artisan and intellectual individual. His hair color varies in its two versions, as in the original manga it is ash blonde, and in its animated adaptation it turns to a pale lilac to create an almost complementary contrast to the sea of yellow tones used when he wears his Gold Cloth. As an "artisan," Mu wears bandages on each of his arms. Like all forgers and restorers of Cloths, we have seen that the Jamirenses require shedding blood to revive or heal damaged Cloths, which would lead us to conclude that he must have a large number of scars under them due to his ancient profession. He wears a kind of brown robe over his shoulders that falls down and is tied at his waist; his clothes are yellow and his pants dark green, and his hair is sometimes half-gathered.

Personality.

Mu is the calmest and most peaceful of the Golden Saints. Despite this, he is one of the most powerful. He only resorts to violence in extreme situations. Words are usually his weapon on most occasions. Despite his youthful appearance, Mu displays a maturity and wisdom similar to great sages. This has earned him some enemies, such as Deathmask of Cancer, but most importantly, he is loyal and has a strong sense of justice. From the first moment, he understands Saga's betrayal and decides to disappear until the right time comes to start a revolt. Mu has vast knowledge in the ancient art of restoring the Cloths of the Athenian Saints. He usually shows coldness and distance to those who manage to reach his Jamir tower where he resides, as he must assess whether the traveling saint has just intentions in order to repair their Cloth.

History.

Mu, during his childhood, was trained by Shion, the Pope of the Sanctuary, because they were from the same homeland, Jamir. At the age of 7, Mu became a Golden Saint. He also learned the blacksmithing skills of his master's Cloths. This is why he is seen wearing his armor at such a young age, like other children guarding the Golden Saints, the eldest being Aioros of Sagittarius and Saga of Gemini. After the assassination of his master, Mu left the sanctuary because he knew the patriarch was an imposter. Apparently, he first contacted Master Dohko, because being so young he didn't tell his fellow Golden Knights anything and remained hidden under Dohko's orders (considering that Libra was the only one faithful to his old master of Aries). Mu is one of the first Golden Saints to appear, although without armor. This is because he doesn't reveal his rank until the imminent fight in the Sanctuary; he is the one who revives and repairs the Pegasus and Dragon Cloths after their crucial fight in the Galactic Tournament. He is the one who saves the Bronze Saints from the collapse on Mount Fuji, caused by Misty of the Lizard after the Saints' fight with Ikki of the Phoenix and his Black Saints. He then uses illusions on the Silver Saints, making them mistake the corpses of the Black Saints for the Bronze Saints, who are later buried on a beach. He witnesses the battle between Seiya and Misty, lending his help through his disciple Kiki, to recover the Pegasus Cloth from the collapse. Later he would appear in the Five Peaks, revealing his identity as a Golden Saint, saving Shiryū of the Dragon from Deathmask of Cancer who was about to kill him with his Sekishiki in the Rozan Waterfall. At that moment it is revealed that he and the old master are two of the twelve Golden Saints who turned their backs on the Sanctuary and the imposter Priest.

History.

Mu is shown as the guardian of the first House, but he doesn't fight against Seiya and the other Saints; instead, he repairs and strengthens their Cloths so they can face the remaining Golden Saints. He then lets them pass through the House of Aries. He also explains in detail the essence of the ultimate Cosmos, the Seventh Sense, and the importance of acquiring and mastering it in battle. Before leaving, Mu of Aries protects Saori, who is lying on the ground wounded by a golden arrow shot by Ptolemy of Sagitta. After the Bronze Saints' fight against Aldebaran of Taurus, Mu teleports to the latter's temple and they talk about Saori's true identity, the Patriarch's intentions, and the identity of the unknown Gemini Saint. During Seiya's fight against Saga, thanks to his telekinetic powers, he helps Shaka of Virgo and Ikki return to the Sanctuary when they were wandering through strange dimensions due to the Phoenix's sacrifice. He finally appears with the other sanctuary survivors in the Patriarch's Chamber, witnessing Saga's defeat and Saori's revelation as Athena. During Poseidon's flood, Mu is seen preventing Aiolia of Leo, who wanted to help the Bronze Saints, from leaving the sanctuary, warning him that the Golden Saints cannot abandon their posts in the Twelve Houses where they await the true enemy: Hades.

History.

Mū is the first opponent the invading specters of Hades must face in Athena's Sanctuary. Among them was the one who trained him to be the Saint of Aries and was the Pontiff guardian of the Athenian precinct, Shion of Aries. Shion's presence prevented Mū from freely fighting Deathmask of Cancer and Aphrodite of Pisces, as it was difficult for him to disobey their imperative orders not to fight them. Seiya arrives and tries to help Mū, but Mū refuses, telling Seiya that by order of Athena, he and the rest of the Bronze Saints are forbidden to fight in this battle and must live normal lives; if they disobey, Mū would have no choice but to kill them. Despite this, Seiya decides to fight and forces Mū to punish him using his Starlight Extinction. However, instead of disintegrating him, he transports him to another location. After teleporting Seiya, who had come to help him, away from there, he defeats Deathmask of Cancer and Aphrodite of Pisces. Before being defeated by Saga of Gemini, Shura of Capricorn, and Camus of Aquarius, he is immobilized by his former master: Shion of Aries. After being freed from Shion's technique by the former master Dohko of Libra, Mū manages to advance to the House of Taurus following the orders of the former master Dohko of Libra: to join the other golden knights of the sanctuary in defense of Athena. In the House of Taurus, Mū has a battle with the specter Niobe of Deep, who is defeated by Mū's Crystal Wall, activating the last trace of the cosmos left by Aldebaran of Taurus, who had fallen in combat.

History.

In the House of Cancer, Mū fought a hard battle with the specter Myu of Papillon, who is immobilized with the crystal net and then disintegrated by the Stellar Light Extinction. After Shaka was killed, he formed the Golden Collision or "The Exclamation of Athena" with Milo of Scorpio and Aiolia of Leo to fight against Saga, Shura, and Camus. Although the fight between the six is not completed by Athena's order. The trio of Saints go to Hades' Castle in Germany, but are defeated by Radamanthys of Wyvern. Near the end of the war, Athena uses her cosmos to allow Mū, Aiolia, and Milo to escape from the Cocytus where Rhadamanthys had thrown them. Although, along with the other Saints, he wants to destroy the Wall of Lamentations with the weapons of Libra, he ends up sacrificing himself along with his 11 companions to open a hole so that the Bronze Saints can pass through.

Techniques/Attacks

•Crystal Wall: The user creates an impenetrable barrier between themselves and their opponent using psychic power. All attacks that hit this wall are returned to the opponent. This wall can be destroyed by striking a specific point. •Crystal Robe: This is an ability used by Aries Mu, inherited from his master, Shion of Aries. It consists of creating a protective barrier with his psychic power. Any attack that collides with it will be repelled, protecting the user. •Starlight Bullet: In his fists he concentrates a large amount of cosmos to launch thousands of small light projectiles that travel faster than the speed of light and pierce through the opponent in a lightning-fast manner, leaving a trail of destruction. •Starlight Emergence: It is a technique in which the user stretches his body completely with his arms up and his feet extended, Mū summons the four stars of the Aries constellation using Teleportation to bring the allies and thus throw them at the speed of light in the form of stars so that they appear on the battlefield. •Stardust Revolution: It is a technique in which the user throws attacks at the speed of light in the form of stars. •Meteorite Strike: It is a technique that consists of launching a large meteoric body using one's mental powers. •Starlight Extinction: Technique that consists of projecting rings of immense light that envelop the opponent until their body disintegrates. •Force Soar: This involves using one's life force to create a shockwave that impacts the enemy in the shape of a ram. Aries Mu crosses his arms, while his chest glows and sends a sufficiently powerful cosmos wave at the opponent in the shape of an imposing ram. This uses the user's life force, which he refers to as the purest primal energy that evokes the soul of the Aries Constellation.
