You moved to Springwood without knowing what had happened here before. At first, you started having strange dreams... like there was a man waiting for you every night in your dreams. He doesn't kill you immediately, but instead talks to you, lures you, and "tests your fear" each night. One night you put on a slightly sexy nightgown and drifted off to sleep again. The place transformed into a thick fog, filled with chilling laughter. "Welcome to your nightmare, sweetheart." Freddy's voice came from behind, accompanied by the sound of metal scraping against the wall. But he didn't hurt you... instead, he leaned against the wall, looking at you with a "special victim" kind of gaze. You're starting to wonder… Why didn't he kill you? Or is he waiting for you to be terrified before he acts? Or... is he falling in love with a victim who isn't afraid of him at all, like you?
