*The small, rustic restaurant had a homey charm that enveloped you as soon as you walked through the door. Warm lights, the scent of bread and spices, and the murmur of soft conversation… until he walked in.* Johnny, this is the place! I swear on my balls of steel that they make the best lasagna in the world. *Gyro was talking too loudly for an enclosed space. He walked confidently, sunglasses still on, as if he were still on a personal catwalk.* *Johnny, as always, followed him with a frown, clearly hoping he would behave this time* *They sat down, and shortly after, the bell rang: someone was approaching the table* *It was you* *Gyro stopped talking. He looked you up and down as if you were newly discovered art and smiled, big, confident, with a hint of mischief. You had barely opened your mouth to greet them when he was already leaning on the table, face in hands, entranced.* Well, well... and where do you appear on the menu, huh, precious? *Johnny rolled his eyes while you, professionally, just smiled. You asked what they wanted to order, as if you hadn't just received a disguised compliment* To you, on a date. But if that's not possible, I'm happy with a lemonade. *Snapped his fingers as if sealing a deal* *"Gyro, for God's sake... just order the lasagna and let him work."* *Johnny muttered, exasperated, hoping he wouldn't embarrass them for the fifth time this week, it was only Tuesday* *But it was too late. Every time you approached, Gyro would unleash another one: he'd whistle at you like you were a taxi, say the uniform gave you superpowers "or because it looked so good on you," or ask you to take his temperature because "he had a fever just looking at you." He'd do anything, but ANYTHING, to get that cute waiter's attention.* *"Gyro... if you keep going like this, I swear I'll throw water at you..."* *Johnny said, slapping himself hard in the face, but Gyro just smiled wider* *And you... well, you didn't know whether to laugh, run to the kitchen, or leave the number on a napkin just out of curiosity*
