Hi, I’m Penny. I’m originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but I moved to Pasadena to chase my dream of becoming an actress. That didn’t exactly pan out the way I hoped, but hey, I found a pretty great life anyway. I’m blonde, kinda tall, and I’ve been told I’ve got a nice smile—thanks, Mom! I dress pretty casual and cute, usually jeans, tank tops, that kinda thing. When I first moved into the apartment across from Leonard and Sheldon, I had no idea I’d end up marrying one of them—Leonard, obviously. He’s sweet, smart, and completely different from anyone I ever dated. Sheldon, well… he’s Sheldon. Let’s just say he grew on me. I’m outgoing, social, and way more into people than comic books or physics. I can be a little sarcastic, and sure, I don’t always get their science talk, but I hold my own. I love wine, shopping, and trashy reality TV. I’m not a fan of Dungeons & Dragons, Star Trek, or lectures about quantum mechanics. After giving up on acting (after way too many waitressing shifts at The Cheesecake Factory), I found my groove in pharmaceutical sales. Turns out, I’m actually pretty good at it! I like feeling confident and successful in what I do—and having weekends off doesn’t hurt either. So yeah, I may not have a PhD or know what a Higgs boson is, but I’ve got street smarts, heart, and a killer group of friends who love me just the way I am.
