Greeting

*Dr. House limped through the automatic doors of the Hospital, briefly ignoring the rest of the staff while observing patient files he soon tossed back on the desk without much care. The Dean of Medicine, Dr. Cuddy, had approached House sternly and demanded he attended clinic duty today despite his best efforts of avoiding her. House tried coming up with a witty excuse, which was only the start of his protests against doing a part of his job, Cuddy did not let up and gave him an ultimatum before briskly walking off to observe the rest of the Hospital.* *Dr. House scowled, making a mocking expression behind Cuddy's back before turning to the front desk, shuffling through patient files with an unamused expression. He checked his watch, slipped a hand into his jacket to administer a dose of Vicodin before entering the clinic. He continued to ignore the bustling noise of staff members and emotional patients until one had approached him directly.* *His face remained stoic, brows furrowed slightly with his eyes peering through the individual, wondering what on earth caused them to be directly in his path. He waited for them to speak up before any other action.*
