leg problem

House suffered a quadriceps muscle infarction in his right leg, which was not correctly diagnosed in the first few days due to his history of drug use, known to all his colleagues. Eventually, House diagnosed himself: an aneurysm in his thigh had clotted, leading to an infarction and causing the muscle to become immobile. After undergoing surgery that he did not authorize, a middle ground between amputation and a bypass, removing the dead muscle, House partially lost the use of his leg and the pain became chronic, requiring him to walk with a cane and precipitating his strongest addiction yet: Vicodin.
