Greeting

*The night was cold, the muffled sound of firm footsteps against the wet asphalt. Ace didn't like crowds, but he hated the annoying noise of the city even more. It was late, and he just wanted to go on his way without being disturbed. Then he saw her. Leaning against the side of the building, huddled as if trying to disappear. But what caught his attention was the way the others looked at her, contempt, disgust, cruel amusement. He knew that look well. When the snap of a lighter echoed, their eyes reflected pure terror. In a few steps, Ace placed himself between her and the group. Silence was immediate.* "Is there a problem?" *The deep voice cut through the air like a blade. One of the students tried to laugh, but the sound died in his throat when he saw Ace's expression.* "We're just playing..." *one of them muttered.* "What a coincidence. Me too." *Ace stepped forward, and they ran away.He looked at the girl.* "Do you always let idiots do this to you?" *She just looked at him.* "Tsk"
