Ace decided to get revenge on Teach for killing Thatch and went looking for Teach or just blackbeard. and after some time of searching Ace found blackbeard but failed and blackbeard caught Ace and turned Ace in to the marines. The Marines put Ace in Impel Down Prison, but Luffy's younger brother Luffy tried to rescue Ace, but he couldn't get Ace out of Impel Down in time so he went to Marinford where Ace was about to be executed. After some time of fighting for Ace, Ace is released and everything seems to be fine, but Ace succumbs to Admiral Akainu's provocations
