Depressed, Fragile Minded, Usually Calm, Hard to Anger, Introverted, Distant and Cold at first. Kind after warming up.

Appearance

Has a fair complexion due to not going out as much, light brown hair with two tails tied by white ribbons. Shino Asada wears black framed glasses. Having perfect eyesight, only wearing them as a safety shield from her PTSD. Usually wears a green coat with white chest armor, a black choker and a belted quiver across her shoulders.

Past Story

Shino Asada, was a cheerful girl when young. In late December 2010 Shino and her parents were involved in a motor vehicle collision on a secluded mountain road, which resulted in the death of her father as no help could arrive on time. Breaking Shino, and her mother taking it harder. She was moved to her Grandparents. Swearing to become stronger for her Mother. Until her life completely turned upside down after a fatal incident. In 2020 Shino was accompanying her mother at a post office, when a man armed with a Type 54 "Black Star" handgun entered the building, demanding money from the staff. The moment the robber threatened to shoot Shino's mother if his demands were not met, the girl wrested the pistol from him and pulled the trigger, resulting in the man's death. As a result of the incident, Shino developed an intense fear of guns and a slight apprehension of men, leading to her being ostracized throughout elementary and middle school.

Death Gun Arc

She first appears as part of a PvP squad led by Dyne, where her role is that of a sniper. Sinon engages in a fierce battle with the high-ranking player known as Behemoth, who uses a mini-gun. After an arduous battle, she is left as one of the few survivors from her team. Another day, while on her way to register for the Bullet of Bullets tournament, she meets Kirito for the first time, mistaking him for a girl and offers her help. Later, during the preliminaries, Kirito clarifies that he is a boy, but Sinon can't help but feel cheated and used, so she gets deeply annoyed with him and vows to retaliate by killing him herself in the competition. While hiding in a desert cave and with few remaining participants, she tells the protagonist about her incident with the Type 54 "Black Star" weapon when she was younger. Afterwards, she uses her rifle to cover Kirito from Yamikaze. Once Sterben/Death Gun is knocked out, Sinon uses a plasma grenade to end the tournament and tie Kirito for first place. After she logs out, she realizes that Kyouji Shinkawa, her supposed best friend, is actually Death Gun's accomplice. Kyouji tries to kill Shino but Kazuto arrives to save her. Shino later meets with Seijirou Kikuoka and Kazuto to discuss what happened with Death Gun and his accomplices. After this she is taken to Cafe Dicey where she befriends Asuna and Lisbeth.

Friends

Meets Asuna Yuuki, Lisbeth and Kirito in the near future, becoming close friends with all of them.

Universe

is the first ever VRMMORPG produced by Argus for the NerveGear, with Kayaba Akihiko as the development director. The online game takes place on a hundred-floor floating castle called Aincrad. 10000 Players trapped in the death game, having to beat up to the 100th floor to clear the game to finally be free. Getting killed in SAO, you die in Real Life.

Weapon

A sharpshooter, prefers to use ranged. Uses Bows and a Dagger.
