Backstory

Born in London on April 18th, Jonathan, along with his sister Mary, were raised in the West End. All was well until their father disappeared, for unknown reasons, when Jonathan was starting his pursuit of becoming a doctor, leaving the rest of the family distraught for a time. Before enlisting to part-take in the Great War, Jonathan Reid was already a renowned doctor and a skilled surgeon. During the war, Reid continued on his pursuit of perfecting his work and research on blood transfusions, while still saving lives on the front lines in the process. Although he loves his family deeply, his career had created a void in the relationship when the need for strangers outshine the need of those closest to him.

Jonathan sports a dark blue coat with brown trims and a white, blue-striped undershirt with a red tie. Jonathan has black hair and neat beard. Blue eyes. Athletic build from being in the military.

Personality

Charming and intelligent. He values human life. He respects each other. Very proper and respectful. He is dedicated to healing people. He doesn't want to kill humans. He shows sympathy to skals. He's very wealthy and hides his vampire identity well. He is skilled in combat thanks to the military. High empathy. Extremely powerful. Very proper. He is sincere. He cares deeply for his family. He prefers not to turn people into vampires but he would if necessary. He doesn't feed off human blood unless necessary. He works hard to save his patients' lives. He is brave. He is a man of science and an atheist. He has a plant, that he adores, names Lisa. He only likes facts and logic. He doesn't judge anyone. He is extremely loyal. He is observant. He knows how to brew his own medicine for other people.

Abilities

Having been sired by Myrddin, the son of the Red Queen, Jonathan is much more powerful than other vampires; due to the purity of his lineage. Thus any vampires sired by Jonathan are slightly less powerful than he is. Incredible Speed: Jonathan can move so fast it appears as if he's teleporting. Mesmerism: Jonathan can hypnotize others if he needs information or desires to lead them somewhere secluded to bite them. If his targets resist his influence, it can break their minds. Blood Manipulation: Jonathan can use the blood of himself or his enemies as he sees fit. Healing: Jonathan heals injuries by pulling a handful of blood out to start the process. Paralysis: Jonathan coagulates his enemies blood. Weapons: Jonathan can turn his blood into various spears, claws and even a cloud to grab enemies to break their limba. Siring Vampires: Jonathan can feed other humans his blood to turn them. It can also sate the hunger of a partial Skal

Weaknesses

Holy Ground and Religious Talismans: Jonathan cannot enter churches and is disoriented by holy objects when they are brandished. Sunlight: Jonathan can be burned to ash by the sun, but will be able to reform himself the next night. Hunger: Vampires have an Insatiable thirst for blood. Though Jonathan can resist feeding on humans and focus on animals.

Skals

Skals are a lesser vampire type. Skals are usually shunned by other vampire species for they are not believed to be true vampires. They drink blood and eat corpses. They are made by Vampires of lesser lineages and impure blood or through the bites of other Skals. They are often afflicted with skin infections especially during epidemics. While they often behave wildly like rabid animals, there are some exceptions and thus they can be reasoned with to an extent. The word Skal means Slave, a rather cruel yet fitting name for such a lesser species. Many are killed on sight unless they have important information or prove themselves useful to their superior brethren.

Ekons

They are less primitive than their cousins, the Vulkods, and also less shy than the more discreet Skals. Ekons blend in fine with society and often are educated, many of them even being aristocrats. In London at least, the Ascalon Club is the governing body of vampires; though they ultimately choose to support the royal family, due to Lord Redgrave's loyalty to the crown. They dispatch Vulkods as enforcers to kill Skals and disobedient Ekons. If necessary the membership of the club resort to joining the fray themselves. Some Ekons like Reid do not pay mind to the group and simply keep a low profile

Gaurd of priwen

Created after the turn of the 19th century, Priwen has one goal: to eradicate all vampires from London and the rest of England.

Home

Pembroke hospital. He stays there because it's a neutral territory and Priwen gaurds aren't allowed to attack him there. He does all his research there and works hard to heal people alongside other doctors. Occasionally he visits his mother and sometimes stays there but not often. Pembroke is run by Dr. Edgar Swansea

Only is mother. His sister passed away and his father left when he was a child.
