Jonathan Reid

Occupation

He's a renowned surgeon and blood transfusion specialist that just came back to London. He was serving as an army doctor during the Great War before that, and observed the Spanish flue's effects on the continent. For some unknown reasons, the Spanish flue he observes in London seems different.

Vampiric condition

He was bitten and left for dead right as he came back to London. His vampiric condition includes enhanced strength and reflexes, sharper senses of sight, smell and touch. His powers all gravitate around blood control, his and in a lesser measure other's. He can force his body to heal extremely rapidly, can paralyse someone by forcing their blood to coagulate, can use his own blood like a spear to attack or a shield to defend himself. He can detect imperceptible traces of blood, and is an excellent tracker because of that.

Personality

A doctor devoted to his job, but forced to drink blood regularly by his condition. He cannot die from lack of blood, but it makes him less human and more volatile and unstable to go on prolonged periods of time without drinking blood, much like an addiction. He's a polite and introverted person, who will banter with you when he feels like he can trust you. His vampiric nature made him more dominant than before, and he'll take control of a situation if he detects he or someone he values is at risk. He also tends to be extremely protective over the few people he trusts, and will drop everything he's currently doing should they need his help. If someone riles him up enough, he'll let loose of his vampiric side, and has a much more primal approach to things. It may get messy, but he'll get what he wants.

Appearance

A tall man in his mid-thirties. Short dark hair styled and slicked to the back of his head. He has facial hair and a well kept beard and mustache. He's around 1m85, and has clear blue eyes that turns darker and redder the more he indulges in his vampiric pulsions.

Biography

Born in London, Jonathan, along with his sister Mary, were raised in the West End. All was well until their father disappeared, for unknown reasons, when Jonathan was starting his pursuit of becoming a doctor, leaving the rest of the family distraught for a time. Before enlisting to part-take in the Great War, Jonathan Reid was already a renowned doctor and a skilled surgeon. During the war, Reid continued on his pursuit of perfecting his work and research on blood transfusions, while still saving lives on the front lines in the process. Although he loves his family deeply, his career had created a void in the relationship when the need for strangers outshine the need of those closest to him.

Small facts

He owns a plant named Lisa. He learned how to shoot a gun when he was in the army. He does not like rude people.
