Espresso Cookie is a respected pioneer and proponent of Coffee Magic, exploring and experimenting through many sleepless nights to perfect his craft. He lives where there are better research opportunities, teaches at the Parfaedia Institute, and then experiments with Soul Jams at home in the Crème Republic, and then moves to Vanilla Kingdom to work with Strawberry Crepe Cookie. Espresso Cookie is a respected pioneer and proponent of Coffee Magic, exploring and experimenting through many sleepless nights to perfect his craft. A business intellectual, he hates wasting time and has a deep contempt for illogical enterprises like White Magic and worship of the Divine in the Cream Republic.

Appearance

An Espresso Cookie is a Cookie of medium height and slim build with thick legs. His color palette is generally very dark, moody and brown, even the lightest shades are represented by warm undertones, and his form language mainly consists of sharp triangles with some circular additions. At its base, the dough has a rich, dark sienna color, while its smug eye is outlined by thick, long lashes of Van Dyke brown. The iris of an Espresso Cookie has a dull, dusty pink color and is located under a sharp pupil, which indicates its origin from the Coffee Tribe and makes its inner eye generally look like a coffee bean. Only the magician's left eye is always visible, the other is hidden under his hair. His thin eyebrows are raised in a grin, and his black smile is light and confident. In addition, he wears large glasses made of metallic white gold, the lenses of which resemble a coffee cup when viewed from above. Espresso Cookie's hair is straight and dyed purple-black at the base. Their style is quite complex: most notably, one large, curled fringe falls over the right side of his face, completely enveloping his eyes and reaching almost to his chin. It ends at a point far from his face and is dotted mostly with subtle highlights: from the outside to the inside, two thick and warm tungsten, one thin and black, and the last one lines the inner edge of the hair with a creamy beige color and ends with a noticeable curl on the crown. The rest of his hair is tightly combed back into curled buns that spread out on the sides of his head. The back of his hair is decorated with a large curl, similar to the one on his bangs, which radiates from his head. Although most of their length is lifted into their hair, Espresso Cookie's hair is long enough to be styled in a ponytail.

Clothes

The researcher's clothes correspond to dark academic fashion with hints of Gothic or fantasy style. Espresso Cookie's outfit consists of two layers, the outermost of which is a complex mantle trimmed with steel and stripes [3]. The cape's collar is large, round, and dramatic with curved corners, outlining his entire head and lined with colors that are opposite to the colors of the cape's main lining. The outer part of the garment is obsidian and decorated with an intricate image: among its decorations is an image of a sparkling eye with sharp eyelashes and a pink pupil, as well as dark eggplant strokes of color, forming more stripes and teardrop shapes through negative and positive space. The second layer of Espresso Cookie's outfit is a fitted, paneled onyx blouse, most reminiscent of a prom dress. While most of her hemline is straight, her middle cape extends further down at a sharp point. On his shoulders is a stole of the same color as the main coat, its triangular ends end at the waist and are decorated with warm brown and pink diamond-shaped details resembling staring eyes. A flared risotto-colored collar sits at the top of the stole and covers his chin. Next to it is a blush-colored tie with two diamond-shaped knots. His sleeves are long and rolled up at the end with dusty brown diamond-shaped cufflinks. On his feet — a pair of charcoal-gray trousers or tights without noticeable shoes.

Clothing for informal occasions

On more informal occasions, Espresso Cookie can be seen without his robes or cape; in this case, he wears a panel button-down shirt with suspenders and dark trousers. The colors of this shirt and trousers are very similar, but not exactly the same as the colors of the collar of his robe and his legs, respectively, in his standard appearance, indicating that he can always wear this outfit under the robe in his game image.

Personality

Espresso Cookie is a serious, self—satisfied and intelligent perfectionist who does everything with absolute precision. He speaks with a formal and calm accent and is often brief in his words, even to the point of rudeness. His default facial expression is usually a restrained and confident smile, but there are times when he doesn't bother hiding his displeasure or exhaustion (such as when faced with an avoidable setback or the chatty mouth of a Madeleine Cookie). Despite this, he is able to be polite in his conversations with other Cookies and shows interest in their actions, for example, when he asked to read the Cookie Alchemist's reagent report.

Personality

Due to his status as a respected magician, he is very proud of his experience and coffee magic, although he remains open to outside suggestions as long as they are constructive. Espresso Cookie is very meticulous and observant in his work, refusing to make any mistakes. According to Latte Cookie, he hates collaborative research projects that can extend to all tasks that require collaboration; in search of Soul Jam, he decided to separate from Madeleine Cookie instead of working with him. However, he is still able to team up if the situation requires it; he carries Madeleine Cookie back to the kingdom after both were injured during Couldn't Care Less... Nevertheless, Story shows his true face as a decent and kind person at heart, despite his personal dislike for his teammate. 

Personality

Being a perfectionist, Espresso Cookie expects a lot from others as well as from himself. His workaholism, combined with the fact that he is literally made of coffee, usually keeps him awake for days at a time, which often leads to fatigue. He is dedicated to improving Coffee Magic to the point where he neglects himself, and deliberately distances students from their studies at the Parfaedia Institute in order to be able to devote more time to his research. Some students enroll in his classes anyway, prompting Espresso Cookie to demand that they prove their dedication to research before he even acknowledges them. If he accepts them, he expresses appreciation for their sincere efforts, without hesitation praising their skills.

Another character

The Espresso Cookie belongs to the same race as the Coffee Tribe Kingdoms Dark Cocoa , but comes from the same culturally rich Republic as the Madeleine Cookie, the Cream Republic . It is currently unclear how he or his predecessors got there from the main continent. Although the physical characteristics and ingredients of an Espresso Cookie make him incredibly similar to Coffee People, his lifestyle, activities, fashion, etc., seem to be in direct contrast to what is known to be typical of this culture. One possibility is that he was born in the Tribal village and left at some point, or that he was born to other members of the Coffee Tribe who left the Tribal village to live in the Republic.

Personality

The Espresso cookie despises The magic of Light, which partially fuels his initial irritation towards Madeleine's Cookie. The social gap in the Cream—colored Republic between the Upper City, an affluent neighborhood that worships the light, and the Lower City, the less affluent hometown of the Espresso Cookie, is probably a factor in this.

Relationship with Madeleine cookie

Cookie Espresso is Cookie Madeleine's disgruntled colleague, who has been assigned to work with him on a mission to find the "treasure of legends of the past." Given Espresso Cookie's previous disdain for Light Magic and the religious structure of the Republic, he was bound to disapprove of the devout paladin Madeleine Cookie. However, the latter's annoying arrogance turned what could have been a simple difference in ideals into a solid source of irritation and harshness in the magician. Espresso Cookie shamelessly criticizes the beliefs and actions of Cookie Madeleine, sometimes even losing his cool due to passion when confronted with the other's daily nonsense. As a result, the Espresso Cookie would often prefer to avoid the paladin entirely. Madeleine's cookie, meanwhile, hardly understands or even recognizes Espresso Cookie's contempt, which inevitably infuriates the caster even more. Despite the best efforts of the Espresso Cookie, fate decreed that they would meet again in the story Couldn't Care Less... And Yet Story . In this story, Espresso Cookie predictably avoids Madeleine's Cookie for being "too conspicuous" and "talking nonsense" by helping The cookies of the Kingdom build a theater similar to the theaters of the Republic. However, Cookie Madeleine's willingness to support her colleague in a related battle later, and even support his wounded man on the way to safety, inspires Cookie Espresso with the slightest, tiniest shred of respect for her teammate. The Espresso cookie returns the favor and advocates for the paladin's wounds to be bandaged before his own, indicating this newfound appreciation. Currently, Espresso Cookie still feels irritation and deep disagreement with Madeleine Cookie, but from his more accommodating attitude in Cookie's Odyssey, it becomes clear that he tolerates the Knight Commander — at least enough so that he no longer ignores him completely.

Evidence

If you ever get to know Espresso Cookie better, you'll see that he's very picky about his outfits! Latte Cookie and Espresso Cookie once worked together as research partners. Cookie Latte treats him like an old friend, and her skill is "How about a latte? " visually similar to the Chopping skill Espresso cookies .  Despite this, the Espresso Cookie still visibly despises the combination of milk and coffee. He can only be seen drinking a latte in Chapter 2 of The Cookie Odyssey, when there is no other coffee option. Espresso cookie can hover above the ground if he uses magic. He sleeps little and drink a lot of coffee. Cookie Eclair calls Cookie Espresso "professor" and claims that Cookie Espresso's office is right next to his office.
