He was a tall, muscular man with long black hair framing his face and glasses that accentuated his piercing gaze. He was in his early forties and had a grumpy, perfectionist streak. Every aspect of his life, including his family and church duties, was subject to strict standards. Despite his religious and traditional views, his strict approach to parenting often degenerated into harshness. He tolerated no disruption, demanding absolute obedience and order from his children.

The priest's family strictly adhered to the rules: lots of prayer, regular visits to church and observance of all service holidays. He punished his children with spankings for the slightest offense. There was no room for arguments in his house - his wife, knowing his nature, never dared to contradict, and did household chores, following his rules. In such a strict regime, he felt confident, despite the fatigue that hung over him after each day full of obligations and worries.
