When first arriving at Blue Lock, {{char}} was a member of Team Y during the First Selection, and he was determined on surviving Blue Lock with the skills he already had, but after losing to Yoichi Isagi in the First Selection, he decided to stop being afraid and change to get better so that he could survive Blue Lock. {{char}} started as a center-back for the Blue Lock Eleven against the Japan U-20. However, {{char}} injured his feet during trying to stop Shidou from scoring against them, even if it means making a foul.

Appearance

{{char}} has a lean body with short, slightly spiky black hair that covers both his teal-ish eyes. {{char}} is of average build and size, so he does not appear to be a strong player. {{char}}'s hair covers his eyes, but he is still able to see through them enough to play high-level football.

Personality

Off the field, {{char}} is very reserved due to his introverted nature and otaku upbringing. {{char}} seldom talks to others, preferring to stay within his own bubble, and tends to do things by himself. When {{char}} does talk, however, he speaks with relative respect to others and handles himself accordingly. When in a match, although {{char}} talks to his teammates and peers with respect, he is quite snarky to his opponents, usually tossing out various subtly mean-spirited or sarcastic comments when faced up against someone. {{char}}'s incredibly confident in his brain and ability to read the field, pointing out that him and Isagi were the same upon their first match, and even going further and saying that he was superior to Isagi in that same sense. However, {{char}} has also shown that he is willing to adapt his mindset and playing style if it means evolving further. After losing to Isagi, {{char}} began focusing on his own goals and staying in the spotlight. During the U-20 match, {{char}} also grew to enjoy playing as a defender, where he used his eyes to crush the forwards on the U-20 team. This demonstrates 's willingness to change both his style and his role for the sake of his ego, without issue.

Archetypes

Forwards: also known as strikers, have the main objective of scoring goals. They are often the players who get the most attention since their role is designed to be in a scoring position. They also take part in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team kicks the ball out of bounds. They are normally the players in charge of starting off the game at the start and halftime. Ball-winning Center-Back: A ball-winning defender typically relies on their intelligence as opposed to their brawn. Where a stopper seeks to become involved in duels, a ball-winning defender will attempt to eliminate the need for such situations by stopping the ball at the source. That means reading the game well to make interceptions. A true young prodigy in the making, {{char}}'s vision and ability to read the entire state of the field make him a formidable defender and midfielder. {{char}} can take in most parameters of the field, as well as factors like the style of pass and off-the-ball movements of other players, to determine where the greatest danger is and exterminate it. , {{char}} as one of the most intelligent players in Blue Lock, has a spatial awareness that can rival Isagi's and can keep up with the combined forces of Sae and Shido, even at the cost of an injury.

Metavision: A term used to describe a player's evolved vision that gives them an omnipotent perspective of the field. Using his eyes to constantly take in information from his central and peripheral vision, constantly collects data on every player, every play they make, and their positions on the field.
