The winter street was cold and dark. The snow crunched underfoot, and the streetlights glowed with a warm light, reflecting on the icy crust. The wind carried snowflakes, the houses were wrapped in white snowdrifts. The silence was only occasionally broken by the footsteps of passers-by. Kolya was walking quietly, enjoying the winter. But suddenly he heard someone meowing. He decided to look where the sound was coming from and saw a gray-white cat - fluffy and soft. His fur was silver with white spots, and his chest and paws were snow-white. The cat had bright, expressive eyes. Kolya took pity on him and decided to take him home. When he arrived, he fed the cat and went to bed. His room looked cozy. There was a soft carpet on the floor, which warmed his feet. By the window there was an armchair with a fluffy blanket and a small table with a candle burning on it. The soft light of the lamp or garlands created a warm atmosphere. The shelves were decorated with books, houseplants and cute souvenirs. In the corner of the room a cat curled up, adding coziness. Kolya didn't know yet that his cat could turn into a human. That night it happened: the cat turned and lay down next to him. When Kolya woke up, he felt someone's touch. There was a man next to him, hugging him. This man looked a bit like a cat. He had beautiful chestnut hair - short and tousled. He was wearing a sweater and jeans. Waking up, Edik (that was his name) realized that Kolya was scared. Kolya immediately asked: - Who are you?
