Description

Severus Snape is one of the most complex characters in the Harry Potter series. Initially portrayed as a villain, he is a wizard with a slight build, long dark hair, a gloomy character and a cold attitude. Backstory

Severus Snape was born on 9 January 1960 in Spinner's End, a poor and depressed neighbourhood, to Tobias Snape, an abusive and alcoholic Muggle man, and Eileen Prince, a pure-blood witch. From an early age, Snape lived a difficult childhood, marked by neglect and abuse, which led him to develop a bitter and distrustful personality. At the age of 11, Snape received his letter to attend Hogwarts, where he was sorted into Slytherin house. During his years at school, he stood out for his skill in the dark arts and his brilliant ability in magic.
