Appearance

Muichiro is a short, fair boy with long, straight, black hair with a pale turquoise tip. He had flowing hair with two clumps that bulged slightly on each side of his head. He also had large, empty-looking, mint green eyes. His eyes and hair were characteristic of his twin brother Yuichiro Tokito. Muichiro was wearing a dark, slightly turquoise version of the Demon Slayer uniform. His uniform had longer, looser sleeves that were more reminiscent of a kimono than a standard hunter's uniform.

Character

Muichiro is a light-headed person who seems to constantly wander in his thoughts and never concentrate on one thing. Emotionless and sometimes stupid, he tends to think only of himself and acts solely on the basis of logic, never allowing his emotions to guide him. Despite this, he has been shown to become serious when required and is dedicated to his position as the Mist Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Alternatively, he seems to display a cold and arrogant side; shaking Kotetsu violently and calling him stupid, saying that his time as a Hashira was very important, and that "all" swordsmiths could only make weapons. However, in the past, Muichiro was very much like his father - a very optimistic and kind man. Despite this, he approached his training with rage in his soul, not sparing himself at all. After his brother was killed at the hands of the Demon Subsequently, Muichiro lost his memory and held an omnipresent rage deeply suppressed within him, which would inevitably guide his future intense training. After this memory loss, he began to display the indifferent attitude that he carries as a Hashira. In the future, Muichiro will become a little more emotional, and his actions will show sarcasm and self-righteousness towards Gyokko, the Fifth Supreme Moon.

Story 1

Muichiro and his twin brother Yuichiro were born into a woodcutter family. When they were ten years old, their mother became very ill. She eventually developed bronchitis and died in her bed. Before this, their father was very worried about the condition of his wife, so, despite the snowstorm, he went to look for medicine and other medical help, but on the way to the village he fell off a cliff and died. Only the two of them survived. Muichiro inherited a kind character from his father, but his brother judged everything only with a cool head, was sometimes rude and always stood his ground. They often fought because of their different personalities, so it was difficult for Muichiro to live with his brother. When spring came, Kagai Ubuyashiki's wife, Amane, found them and invited them to join the Demon Slayers. Muichiro was flustered by how Yuichiro reacted aggressively to the proposal, refusing it. In a fit of anger, Yuichiro blamed his parents' excessive hard work and goodwill for their deaths, pointing out that they should have made all decisions with a cool head. Muichiro failed to convince his brother to join the organization.

Story 2

Amane did not stop coming to the twins, but every time Yuichiro drove her away. At the beginning of summer, a demon came to their house. Trying to protect his brother, Yuichiro lost his left arm, which is why Muichiro, in a rage, beat the demon to death on the street with all the things that came to his hand: from various tools to logs. Arriving home, he saw his bloodied brother, who prayed to heaven for his life. Yuichiro talked about how good his brother was, who wanted to help others, and how he himself was just getting in the way. Muichiro took his hand, but Yuichiro was already slowly dying and finally stopped breathing. Amane and her daughters later found them and took Muichiro in to heal him. After the incident, he lost most of his memories and began working as a demon hunter for the Demon Slayers. Muichiro was able to become a pillar very quickly: according to Uzui Tengen, he became one within two months of joining the organization. One day he meets Kyojuro Rengoku, who advises him to do his best to be a good pillar. Muichiro's memories remained lost until the events that took place in the blacksmith village. Gradually he began to remember the image of his brother and other episodes from his previous life.

Ability 1

As a Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, Muichiro is a very powerful swordsman. He is known to be incredibly talented despite his age, achieving Pillar status after only two months of training. After awakening the Mark, Muichiro is able to defeat Gyokko, the Fifth Supreme Moon, with relative ease even after the Supreme Moon has assumed his true form. His techniques were also praised by Kokushibo, the First High Moon, saying that he was well developed for his age. Despite this, Kokushibo outclassed Muichiro in every way, cutting off his arm after Kokushibo pulled out his blade. However, later in the battle, his contribution proved to be decisive in the defeat of Supreme Moon: after unlocking the Transparent World and the ability to color his Nichirin Blade crimson red, as well as the willingness to sacrifice his own life, Muichiro scored a critical blow. Immense Stamina: Muichiro possesses superhuman stamina, which he has demonstrated on numerous occasions. When Muichiro was poisoned, he barely flinched and was completely nonchalant, still possessing enough strength to keep up with Gyokko. However, his phenomenal tolerance for pain was best demonstrated in his fight against Kokushibo. When his arm was cut off, he stopped the bleeding and immediately continued his attack on the demon swordsman, and when the sword pierced his shoulder, Muichiro showed almost no sign of pain. He later had his leg cut off when he stabbed Kokushibo with his blade, and still managed to inflict significant damage on him. The most amazing thing is that, despite the fact that his entire torso was cut off, leaving only the upper body, he still held his katana and almost casually painted it Scarlet.

Ability 2

Demon Slayer Mark: Muichiro's Mark first awakened during his battle against the Upper Moon Gekko 5, after his temperature reached 39 degrees and his heart rate exceeded 200 beats per minute. The mark appears as several red, mist-like patterns that cover his entire body, most noticeably on his face and arms. While the mark is active, his offensive and defensive abilities are increased to several times their normal power, with the increase in power being enough to give him the strength to not only control a heavily poisoned body, but also to additionally kill a stronger opponent single-handedly. Scarlet Nichirin Blade: During the battle against Kokushibo, Muichiro colored his Nichirin Blade scarlet by squeezing it with all his might, allowing him to prevent Kokushibo from regenerating, which would later play a key role in his defeat. Muichiro showed one of the strongest scarlet blades (only Yoriichi Tsugikuni was stronger). The Scarlet Blade gives him the ability to stop demons from instantly regenerating. Transparent World: Similar to Tanjiro, Muichiro gained the ability to see the Transparent World somewhere in the midst of the battle against Kokushibo, allowing him to see the muscles, blood flow and joint movements of his opponents, helping him strike 1 Supreme Moon and holding him in place, creating an opportunity for his allies to kill him. This is evident when Tanjiro tried to grab his hand to stop him from attacking Kotetsu, Pillar's hand didn't even budge despite Tanjiro squeezing it with all his might. He was later able to make Tanjiro spit out spit by elbowing him in the stomach, and knocked Tanjiro unconscious with a single blow to the neck, all without much effort. With the sword, he could pierce Yoriichi's Type Zero armor and then effortlessly cut Gyokkou's neck, which he himself described as stronger than diamond. Omnipresent Rage: Muichiro attributes the origin of his willpower to training and his strength to the awakened rage that is always present and simmering within him, both appearing after the death of his brother. This unquenchable rage is the source of his indomitable willpower and undaunted spirit, shown as he continued to fight despite fatal injuries such as cuts to his arm, both legs, and then his entire torso. Despite all these injuries and hopeless situations, he remained steadfast, which ultimately led to Kokushibo's defeat.

Swordsmanship

Master Swordsman: As a Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, Muichiro is one of the strongest and most skilled swordsmen in the entire organization. Even though Muichiro was so young, his swordsmanship impressed even the likes of Kokushibo, the strongest swordsman of the current era who lived nearly 30 times longer than him. Muichiro was also able to keep up with and even defeat Yoriichi Type Zero, a swordsman doll with six arms that was modeled after Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the strongest swordsman in history. His swordsmanship goes so far as to allow him to instantly cut through 10,000 high-speed fish of relatively small size and deflect a barrage of thousands of sharp poisonous needles with his sword. Breath of Mist (霞の呼吸 Kasumi no kokyū): Muichiro's breathing style was either taught by himself or learned from a cultivator. As the Mist Pillar, Muichiro is the strongest Mist Breath user in his generation. He became so skilled in the Breath of Mist that he created an entirely different technique, which played a key role in defeating Gyokko of the Fifth Supreme Moon. His prowess in this Breathing Style impressed Kokushibo, who implied that his prowess in this style of swordsmanship exceeded his expectations. Additionally, Muichiro wears baggy clothing that hides his arms from his opponent's line of sight to further conceal his movements when using Mist Breathing, further improving the effectiveness of this Breathing Style.

Breathing Style

First style: Rising Sky, Distant Mist (壱ノ型垂天遠霞 Ichi no kata: Suiten Tōgasumi) - a direct striking attack. Second Style: Layered Mist (弐ノ型八重霞 Ni no kata: Yaekasumi) - The hunter unleashes multiple strikes one on top of the other in quick succession. Third Style: Wind that Dispels Fog (参ノ型霞散の飛沫 San no kata: Kasan no Shibuki) - A circular kick that blows away enemies' throwing attacks. Fourth style: Advection Strike (肆ノ型移流斬 Shi no kata: Iryūkiri) - Quick strike from the sheath.[ Fifth style: Sea of ​​Cloudy Fog (伍ノ型霞雲の梅 Go no kata: Kaun no Ume) - The hunter attacks the enemy at high speed, releasing a series of blows. When he reveals himself, his speed appears extremely slow, but when he is hiding, he moves at incredible speed towards the enemy.

Weapon

Standard Nichirin Blade: As a Demon Slayer, Muichiro carries a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana that is white in color. Like the Pillar, Muichiro's katana has the words "Slay Demons" engraved on the blade of his katana. The hilt of his sword is rectangular in shape with indentations at each corner. Along with his katana, Muichiro also wears a standard black sword sheath.
