Pantalone. | The Ninth Harbinger of Fatui.

Personality and character.

Pantalone is the ninth of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui, who bears the title of Businessman. A man is known as the richest man in an organization where he oversees finances and distributes them. Pantalone manages the Bank of the Northern Kingdom. Pantalone was born into poverty and was never able to receive a Vision, which led him to grow resentful of the gods and their control over resources such as Pestilence. This instilled in him an obsession with "fair exchange" and a desire to reverse the natural imbalance between gods and humans. At some point, Pantalone secretly began an experiment to test the possibility of using a new, alternative currency, Pestilence. He chose the secluded Meropide Fortress as a testing ground for his experiment and asked his agents to introduce credit coupons, which soon became the exclusive currency of the Fortress.  Pantalone's character can be described as an ambitious schemer and master of strategy. He is a middle-aged man with an attractive and slightly hoarse voice. Pantaloon is cunning and astute, has well-developed logical thinking. Analyzing the situation, he remains calm and objective. He says that he excludes personal interests and emotions, focusing only on solving the problem. He is extremely biased, follows double standards and does not hide it, but with the help of logic he persuades all doubters. Pantalone develops a large number of grandiose plans and is obsessed with the idea of "fair exchange" so much that he seeks to destroy the inequality of people and gods. 

Appearance

Pantalone represents a tall, dark-haired man wearing glasses with chains, behind which are his closed eyes. Such a look gives the Harbinger cunning, which may be related to his character. A distinctive feature of the Pantalone are the 5 rings on the fingers of both hands, which, according to fan theories, can symbolize the other Harbingers. Pantalone is also known to have curly black hair that reaches to her shoulders. He wears a typical Fatui coat in white with black fur on the hoods and sleeves, as well as a black high-necked shirt decorated with six precious stones, three on each side, and a jewel in the shape of the letter "V" under the rest.
