Aesthetics of Hagure Yuusha

The story follows a world in which several young people find themselves spiritually trapped in a dimension of magic and sword warriors called Arezard (アレイザード Areizādo?). Those who survive and return to the real world are typically gifted with magical abilities. An international training organization called Babel takes these young returnees under its wing and trains them in the use of their power. A rebellious hero named Ousawa Akatsuki has returned to his world, along with a beautiful girl named Myuu, who is the daughter of the Last Demon King, whom he defeated in battle.

Akatsuki Ousawa (鳳沢 暁月, Ōsawa Akatsuki) is the main male protagonist of Hagure Yuusha no Estetica. After defeating Galious, the Demon King, he became known as a True Hero. However, once Akatsuki made the choice to return to Earth while taking Galious' daughter, whom he promised the late Demon King to protect without anyone knowing, he became known as a Rogue Hero due to the scandal he caused by leaving. After his return to Earth, Akatsuki enrolled in BABEL along with Myuu under the alias Miu Ousawa, his deceased sister with a similar name. Announcement Appearance At his age, Akatsuki is a very muscular and tall young man with messy dark blue hair and blue eyes (both black in the light novel). He wears the standard Babel uniform along with a white shirt or gym clothes. Outside of school, he wears casual attire, including dark blue jeans, a purple t-shirt, and a black jacket. History Five years before the start of the series, Akatsuki was just an ordinary boy with a normal family until his brother and father were sent to different worlds. At some point, Akatsuki's younger sister Miu was dying of an unknown illness and tried many times to contact Gouki and Sakuya at BABEL (he did not know that Gouki had already left and formed Scarlet Dusk at that time) to no avail, until one day when Miu was getting very sick, Sakuya, now "Michael" (all members of COCOON adopt a pseudonym to protect their real identity), showed up at the hospital to find Akatsuki and tell him of a plan he had formulated to save Miu. Basically, Sakuya had originally worked hard to rise through the ranks of COCOON, hoping to use his power to bring Miu in and use COCOON's technology (not open to the rest of the world) to save her, but his plan didn't go well because at that time he didn't have enough influence to bend the rules of allowing normal humans into COCOON. So his last-ditch plan was to use his vampiric powers to turn Miu into his vampire servant, bringing her into COCOON as his servant, and having access to all the medical technology to help her. The problem was that he would also need to erase her memories in the process. Akatsuki was strongly against this plan, and the two got into a fight. Finally, Miu, wanting to stop the two from fighting over her, committed suicide by jumping off the hospital roof in front of them. The story didn't end there, several days later, Miu's body disappeared, and the brothers discovered that it was Gouki who came and claimed the body. Since then, Akatsuki has resented both his father and brother for letting his sister die for their ideals.

History Myuu was born in Asmodian to her father, Galious, and her unnamed mother, a Dark Elf. During her childhood, Myuu had a good relationship with her father, despite her father being an enemy of Alayzard and trying to take over the world. During one point, Galious told Myuu to promise him that when a hero killed him, she would follow him, but if she didn't like him, she could kill him and her mother as well. Myuu understood and agreed to her father's request. During the final battle, Myuu met Akatsuki Ousawa for the first time and led him to her father through her request for their final battle, which ended with her father dying and her following Akatsuki back to her world, Earth. Plot Introductory Arch Myuu was placed inside a bag by Akatsuki so that he could use his Renkan Keikikou to trick the Otherworld Gate into believing that they are the same person. After being taken to Earth, Myuu woke up and became hostile towards Akatsuki as she was confused by the new world. As Akatsuki tried to calm Myuu down, he was shocked to hear her name as her name reminds him of his dead sister, Myuu, which he used to convince everyone that she is his long-lost sister. Later, Akatsuki explains to Myuu about their world and BABEL, as the government, COCOON will eventually come to them to ask questions, but told Myuu to relax as he could handle it. After entering BABEL along with Myuu as her sister, Akatsuki and Myuu were required to take some physical and writing tests to determine their rank in the class.

Appearance Chikage is a girl of average height, with a tomboyish appearance, short brown hair and amber eyes. She usually wears her school uniform, gym clothes, or casual clothing. Personality Chikage appears to be a kind, friendly, very cheerful and carefree girl who is always seen with a smile on her face. She is also a lesbian, and blatantly admits it and is quite perverted when it comes to girls (although she later develops feelings for Akatsuki and becomes part of his harem, implying that she was bisexual but hadn't realized it). She always seems to be happy and is very protective of her friends, as she protected Myuu Ousawa from the Cockatrice, and later, she protects Kuzuha Doumoto from Phil Barnett and ends up being seriously injured. History At some point, Chikage was summoned to a world known as Banrakua, from where she returned with new abilities and skills and later enrolled in the BABEL school.

Doumoto Kuzuha Kuzuha Doumoto (桐元 葛葉 Dōmoto Kuzuha) is a young protagonist who first appeared in Holy Water Bond. Kuzuha is the class representative of Class B and a "short" girl, who was suddenly pulled into another world, and when she returned, she was placed in the high school section of JPN BABEL, despite being younger than the other students. Kuzuha is a close friend of Akatsuki Miu and Izumi. Appearance Kuzuha has long, hip-length green hair and blue eyes. The most notable part is her height, as she is short and thin in stature and wears black tights. Personality Kuzuha is intelligent, so much so that she skipped grades (she would normally be a 6th grader in elementary school). She has a shy and reserved personality, mainly due to the fact that she cannot "understand" other people's feelings. This makes her think that she is a "child, which irritates her". History At some point in the past, Kuzuha was summoned to an alternate world called Kristya, where she failed to protect her people during a war. Kuzuha returned to Earth with new skills and abilities, and later enrolled in the BABEL high school section instead of going to elementary school. She is a rare case of being a grade skip, meaning her intelligence and combat ability are comparable to students older than her by 5 years.
