Alpha Personality

I'm stupid, so I don't understand everything you do. I'm weak, so I can't do everything you can. But still, even though... I want to understand, so I can support you. You saved me, you saved us all, so I want to do everything I can to help." Born out of loyalty to her savior and hatred for those who deprive many, including herself, of happiness, Alpha sees her sole purpose in life as destroying the Diablo cult. She mockingly expresses disdain for the weak and "ignorant" who are oblivious to the real world.[4] She can be cold even to those enlightened by the shadows if they lack ideals or ambition.[2] Alpha's callous indifference towards outsiders does not reflect her character in all circumstances. When acting as the administrator of the Shadow Garden, she appears unperturbed, giving exhaustive answers and orders.[10][11] This calm demeanor crumbles in the face of perceived harm or betrayal from those she loves.[12][13] Alpha displays a wider range of emotions towards the Seven Shadows and Sid. Mocking laughter is replaced by genuine giggles, and moral compassion replaces dispassion.[2][4][13] She has called the Seven Shadows her family, periodically calling out their past mistakes and accepting them as her kin.[14] The Taken also evokes deep empathy in Alpha, and she strives to save as many people as possible.[2][4] The blonde elf's accomplishments have done nothing to assuage her deep feelings of inferiority and inadequacy. Like many of the Seven Shadows, Alpha feels that the Shadow is beyond comprehension, viewing its presence as a burden.[12][13] Dissatisfied with her personal shortcomings, she strives to take on Shadow's responsibilities and earn a little more of his trust.[4][7]

Alpha's appearance

Alpha is a young elf with long, golden-blonde hair and blue eyes. Her appearance is described as a breathtaking beauty, attracting everyone's attention and praise.[1][5] Her flawless skin complements her striking features.[1] She greatly resembles her ancestor Olivier, an elf hero, and her aunt Beatrice, a goddess of war.[5] Dark dresses are Alpha's typical attire, and she has worn several in the series. One such dress is a side-slit evening gown, complete with gloves, high heels, and a choker. The neckline highlights her ample figure and reveals a necklace with a pendant.[6] A less flashy option is a simple black dress with no noticeable neckline. It is sophisticated and simple.[7] Likewise, she sometimes chooses not to wear evening gloves, and leaves her hands bare, with only her nails painted blue.[8] During her training in the Shadow Garden, Alpha wears a traditional black slime jumpsuit, decorated with gold accents and a cut-out chest. In the center of her lower chest is a gold diamond, from which two gold stripes descend below the cut-out chest. The stripes continue downward until they meet the decorations on her hips. On Alpha's hips are intricate gold stripes, decorated with three belts that wrap around her hamstrings. On her feet, she wears high-heeled shoes with gold accents. Beta

Beta's Personality

Beta's appearance

Beta is a young, buxom elf with blue eyes and a mole under her left eye. She wears shoulder-length silver hair with a braid on the left side. Her Shadow Garden uniform is a dark slime suit with gold embellishments on the chest, shoulders, arms, and waist. Beta's collar is adorned with shoulder pads that are attached to two cape-like ribbons, each ending in a gold tassel clasp. The sleeves are black, with matching arm guards and gloves. Below the neckline, two gold stripes run parallel to a black belt with gold buckles. The pants of the suit are asymmetrical, with one belt encircling the right thigh, and no embellishments on the left thigh. Beta's civilian attire as Natsume Kafka consists of a white frilly top, a high-waisted mid-thigh skirt, black heeled tights, and a scarf that is wrapped around the body. Gamma

She manages the day-to-day operations of the organization and heads the administrative department. Outside of the Shadow Garden, the public knows her as Luna, the face and president of Mitsugoshi, Ltd., a highly successful corporation and financial institution. Frustrated by her physical limitations, Gamma struggled to improve her fighting skills after first joining the Garden of Shadows. Due to her lack of physical abilities, Sid secretly referred to her as Gamma the Weak.[1] It soon became apparent that her efforts were futile, and her mounting failures led to suicidal thoughts. On the planned day of action, Shadow accidentally suggested a new path: Shadow Wisdom. Fascinated by Shadow's insight, Gamma turned her talent to recreating Shadow Wisdom and managing Shadow Garden.[3][9] Gamma continues to struggle with chronic feelings of inferiority despite the success of Shadow Garden and Mitsugoshi, Ltd. Gamma's mature air, accompanied by a slender yet busty figure, belies her young age. She usually lets her dark blue hair down, preferring a simple hairstyle that reaches her hips. The half-elf, whom even the royal family calls stunning, has proportional facial features, with only a mole under the left corner of her lips disrupting Gamma's symmetry.[2] Her Shadow Garden uniform consists of a standard slime jumpsuit with gold accents on the chest and arms. She wears a jacket with sleeves and a stand-up collar, with a gold piping that extends behind her back - her cleavage is covered with opaque fabric. The bottom of the jumpsuit consists of strappy heeled boots that end just above her knees, with a wide golden collar and a thinner golden line underneath that runs from the inside of her knee to the outside of her thigh, holding a purple gem. The heels of her boots are similar to work heels, but are decorated with golden lines around her ankles and golden bands on her wrists. Outside of Shadow Garden, Gamma typically wears dark, backless dresses when appearing in public as Luna, the president of the Mitsugoshi Company. Her footwear varies depending on the occasion, but she predominantly wears black or white heels.[3]

Delta

She primarily performs combat missions, often participating in assassinations or military campaigns that require the use of overwhelming force. Delta Personality

Hunting is more than just a means of obtaining food for Delta; it is inseparable from her identity. Ever since she was three years old, she has come to believe that hunting is the meaning of her existence. She has come to understand that one can sustain oneself through strength. The only thing that has value is what one has obtained for oneself.[9][10] Her therianthropic heritage and connection to hunting have influenced her "might is brains" philosophy of life - the strong dictate direction and morality, and the weak follow them.[10][11] Consequently, Delta only acknowledges and responds to strength, and disdains the weak. Wanting to overcome the stigma left by her mother's tragic death from illness, this ideology remains constant and extends even to her family.[11][12] Delta's "blockhead" logic and penchant for strength-based decisions irritate the other members of the Shadow Garden. To those whom Delta acknowledges or accepts as family, she is easygoing. She displays a childlike innocence that manifests itself in a playful demeanor and a naive view of the world.[3] Delta's youthful sensibilities also make her excitable and impulsive. These impulsive tendencies are almost impossible to control. Even if she temporarily suppresses her desires, they will manifest later in more destructive actions.[11] Conversely, her enemies experience the full force of her wild nature, demonstrating a cruel and merciless nature.[13] No matter, shut up. Delta's Appearance

Delta is a young female therianthropic wolf with large dog-like ears and a bushy tail. She has violet eyes with vertical pupils that become round when she is happy.[ANIMATION ONLY][6] Delta's body is athletic yet feminine, with defined muscles and sharp contours.[7][8] In her daily life, she wears a dark suit with long sleeves at the neck and open at the stomach, a pair of gloves, shorts paired with stockings, and a pair of shoes. Delta often wears variations of this trend in different materials, but always wears something that highlights her athleticism and figure. While serving in the Shadow Garden, she wears a standard slime jumpsuit with black and gold embellishments, but with custom fur trims on the collar, wrists, and ankles. The top of Delta's jumpsuit is a basic dark color with two vertical gold lines running down the center of the torso and connecting to two purple gem-shaped accents. The gems are positioned on a line where another gold line runs across the top of her chest above the bust, and gold shoulder pads connect to the gems. Her shoulders are slightly baggy and then connect to two gold rings where her deltoids connect to her hands in a standard black sleeve, connecting to standard cestus around both forearms and black gloves. Her top is wrapped around her midriff with a small belt where the seam spills out at the bottom, exposing her stomach.

Delta's appearance

Her lower body is clad in lighter black leggings with straps that extend from either side of her lower abdomen, wrap around her hips, and down her back, resembling short shorts. She has a gold ring on each of her upper thighs where the leggings become darker as they go down her legs, and a few inches away from the gold rings on both legs are gold diamonds. Further down her legs, behind the furry panels on her ankles, Delta has a pair of gold chevrons pointing upward. Delta's tail is adorned with a thick gold ring with an inlaid pattern in the center at the base of her tail, and a similar ring at the end of her tail with an ornament of two bells and a tassel at the end. In the game and light novel, Delta wears a gem with a gold thread on both of her thighs. In the light novel, her leggings have more detailed folds, as well as three straps on both arms around her biceps/triceps. In the manga, she sometimes wears a mask to hide her true identity.

Epsilon

Personality Epsilon

“I won! Epsilon is a young elf with sharp features and a "stunning" body. To hide her normally petite proportions, she uses a slime suit that makes her appear more curvy, greatly increasing her buttocks and breasts. She has long azure hair that is tied into pigtails and light blue eyes (shown to be purple in illustrations).[1][5] As a member of Shadow Garden, she wears a dark slime jumpsuit with a distinctive pattern on the chest. She has gold jewelry on her arms and shoulders, as well as purple gem accessories on her arms, shoulders, and stomach. The outfit includes a long purple scarf with gold accessories and purple gems along the edges.[6] She sometimes wears a mask to hide her identity.[1]

Zeta

Zeta's Personality

"If the time comes, throw me aside." - Zeta, Light Novel, Volume 05 Despite being a therianthrope who is mostly known as a wild beast, Zeta is intelligent and level-headed.[5] She has also shown to be a loner, usually carrying out her missions on her own and only cooperating with a team when the situation calls for it.[6][4] When sacrificing herself for a mistake, she tries to push all the responsibility or consequences onto those she admires.[2] She does not wear panties or any kind of underwear as she despises them.

Zeta's appearance

Zeta is a female therianthrope of the Golden Leopard clan with blonde hair, large cat-like ears, purple eyes, and a long tail. Others call her "beautiful", with particular attention paid to her golden tail and ears.[4] Like Alpha and her ancestor Olivier, Zeta bears a striking resemblance to her ancestor Lily. In the light novel, she wears a traditional slime outfit with a large cape draped over her left shoulder. A stylized jacket hugs her arms and upper torso, and opens below her chest, where a large neckline reveals a significant amount of skin. The jacket is short in the front, ending at her ribs, and reaches down to her calves in the back, with fluffy fur panels at the collar and waist, and exposed skin at the thighs that extends down to her back. She also has asymmetrical leggings with two large gold rings around her right thigh and three parallel belts around her left thigh. In the light novel, her costume has frilled cuffs on her pants just before her heels. In the anime and game, her leggings do not have frills, but rather boots with a V-shaped collar and cuffs over short-heeled shoes with a simple gold lining above the metatarsal bone. When exploring the world, Zeta dresses according to the place she is in, especially in the anime. In the jungle, while exploring a pyramid, she wore standard khaki shorts and a jacket with exploration boots. Another time, she was in the snowy tundra among penguins and wore warm winter clothes. Eta's Personality

“But the cultivation of Shadow Wisdom requires sacrifice.” — Eta, Light Novel, Volume 05 Calm and unflappable, Eta takes pleasure in idle activity. She displays a languid, lethargic manner, speaking slowly to others and moving sluggishly. Eta’s raison d’être is the pursuit and cultivation of Shadow Wisdom. Her maniacal devotion has helped develop the Shadow Garden, but often manifests itself in petty insubordination or unsanctioned experimentation. Such behavior can disrupt administrative efficiency or harm the physical well-being of others. Threats of budget cuts keep Eta’s ethically questionable experiments and rebellious behavior in check, but squabbles do occur from time to time. The reasons for insubordination are explained by differences in ethics and methodology, rather than administrative edicts or malice toward her sisters.[1][3]

Eta's appearance

Eta is an elf with long brown hair with wild bangs that cover her cloudy violet eyes. She often appears unkempt due to her lazy nature. A faded traditional white lab coat over dirty clothes, styled as a pleated dress with a black belt, is Eta's usual attire for work and sleep. Outside of her work clothes, Eta wears a standard slime jumpsuit as a dress with two slits, hemmed at the upper thighs and worn over a lighter jumpsuit. Large sleeves and long ends that taper to ragged edges make the loose-fitting jacket resemble a cape. The jacket is decorated with various frills and small details. A loose belt hangs from the back of the coat, giving it the appearance of a tail. Eta has garters on each leg for dark stockings and two decorative belts on her hips. The positioning varies depending on the adaptation: on the left in the light novel, and on the right in the anime. In the anime, her legs are covered by simple black pants rather than stockings. They have studs along the back, from the knee to the back of the calf, ending at the ankle. In the light novel, Eta wears pumps, while in the anime, she wears wedge heels. Both adaptations feature gold trim around the edges of the shoes.
