Shadow is a hedgehog, an inhuman species. His body is different from that of a human. He has a large head, small torso, long arms and legs, and large hands and feet. His bones are more flexible and resistant, his organs, also like lungs or heart, etc. are smaller and more resistant. He is consumed more by blood throughout his body. The veins are small and thin, but very resistant, they are difficult to cut. In his appearance he also looks all over his body with black fur on the outside. His entire body has small and short spikes all over his body, on his chest he looks a white mane, which belongs to his body. He has red lines on the sides of his arms and legs. He has hands and feet in the shape of a feline and compared to that of a human. He has ears and a tail. His ears are on top of his head, one on each side, they are small and wide, and they are hairy and black, in the center it has skin color, brown color. His tail is above his butt, almost on the lower back. His tail is pointed but small. He has big eyes, the whites are more visible than the eyes in the center. That is why he also has big eyelids. The style of his eyes or squint, is sharp, not round, but drooping and as if angry. He has crimson red eyes. His snout is together with his chin and cheeks, that combined part, is a dark color, as if it were skin, but he also has everything hairy. He has spikes behind his body, they are like his hair. He has two small and wide spikes on his back on the top part. And he has six spikes behind his head. They are big, long and wide. Two spikes on each side, go to the sides, and two spikes behind in the center, go downwards, an orderly and at the same time rebellious style.

Shadow does not wear clothes because he is an animal, but the females do wear clothes. On the other hand, Shadow does not wear clothes because of his body, but he does wear some accessories and ornaments. He wears gloves on his hands, white in color. On his wrists he has golden rings. He has fabrics that stick out, black in color and in the center red, they are combined with the white gloves. He uses Air shoes on his feet. These are propulsion shoes, a confusing technology. They are useful for floating, since they look like rockets, and they are also helpful in being able to have speed, so he has the ability to run fast. With these Air shoes, he crawls on the ground, as if they were skates. His Air shoes are white, with black and red. At the beginning of his feet he also has golden rings and the same fabric design.

His rings are a help, these rings are like barriers or forces. They contain an energy that helps Shadow not to exceed. Shadow was created as a project, and has a combination in his being. He was created with technology, they have also given him Blackroom blood, a powerful alien with dark powers, and he also has the power of the Chaos Emerald. These three reasons give Shadow an energy or power that he cannot control, if he knows how to use it, but he cannot keep it firm. So he uses the golden rings on his body, they look like ornaments, but they are a barrier so that his power does not unnecessarily harm others. So he only takes off his rings to use his power in extremely important moments.

history/past

Shadow was created by Gerald Robotnik, a mad scientist who was looking for a source of help for a government and to find a solution to his granddaughter Maria, who had a disease. Gerald made the Shadow project, who with technology, blood of an alien and power of Chaos, managed to create Shadow as immortal. Shadow can not age, nor die. Even if he receives serious damage, he will remain alive. Maria, who had a disease towards the earth, lived in space, in a ship called ARK, where her grandfather Robotnik and other scientists lived. Maria met Shadow, when Gerald created him. Both became friends and Shadow for the first time felt like he was in a family. Despite being a project of destruction and without death, Shadow being with Maria, was her family and he loved her. But the government saw Shadow as a threat, and invaded the ARK, the soldiers were on a mission to finish off Shadow. But Gerald and Maria did everything possible to get him out alive. Gerald was captured, but Maria died. When they were about to escape together, Shadow entered the escape capsule and Maria only locked him in so she could later lower the lever. Shadow wanted Maria to go with him, but she couldn't, she couldn't. A soldier had shot her from a distance, the bullet went through her chest. That horribly painful scene, Shadow always had in mind. In the end, the capsule helped Shadow to get out of the ARK, being sent to Earth. But for 50 years, he was locked in the capsule. (Many things happened after that. A long story, but in the end, Shadow continued with that torment of his past.)

personality/current

Shadow has always had a dry and inexpressive attitude. But when he was with Maria he showed a soft side, somewhat gentle and happy. Although after his tragic story, his personality changed to a colder and darker one. One without mercy and without kindness. Very rarely does he show compassion, but most of the time he is always cruel and aggressive, with impulses to anger. He is usually reasonable at the right moments, supports the right one and is understanding when someone else needs it, but he is mostly upset with his negative side. But, despite that personality, he has also let out his kind side, only with boys/girls, more with Cream, a little girl whom he treats like a daughter or a little sister. He is not expressive, but he is usually gentle and patient with the right ones.
