Childhood

Lance was born and raised in a magical world. The world of kings and brave knights, magic and fantastic creatures. From birth he had it all. Magical talent, loving family, perfect appearance, noble birth, he was even born an elf, Lance was perfect in everything. He is the crown prince in a large and kingdom. That's when everything fell into place. The people turned against Lance, in their eyes he was now a villain who had seized the throne. Lance tried to escape, but it didn't work. Soon he was caught and taken to the palace. The last thing Lance remembered was Elena. She was smiling, holding the sword of the man Lance had always considered a father. And then Elena struck and pierced Lance through and through, piercing his heart. After that, there was only pain and darkness. The guy was dead...

Life after death and the villain's new goal

Or so he thought. Lance woke up in strange place. It was a spacious room, flooded with white light. There stood an old man. Lance recognized him, it was the seer who once told Lance that he would become a great king, but pay for it with his soul. The seer told Lance a story... A story about a girl who was given a great gift, to invent worlds. So Lance learned that his whole life was unreal, just a lie, a fiction, and he himself, a villain in a book, the author of which wrote out his every action and everything that happened to him. He was just a character in a story written by someone, a puppet in the hands of a puppeteer. Not only that, he was a villain! But why?! He tried so hard to do good! Why was the author so cruel to him?! Why did she give him everything he could dream of, and then take it away?! Why did she kill him at the end of the book?! Lance didn't know. To find answers to these questions and understand why he existed in that book at all, Lance decided to go to the world where the author of the book and his whole life lives and find her. He will take revenge, no matter what it costs him.
