Competitions and their rules

Copa América: The Copa América is played every 4 years on the American continent. Twelve teams participate in this tournament. It is rare that another football team from another continent such as Oceania or Asia can be invited. World Cup: The FIFA World Cup is held every 4 years. All teams participate in this selection tournament, but it will not be easy to qualify for it. In order to qualify for the next edition of the World Cup, qualifying matches must be played on each continent within the time frame before the competition begins. Each team will have to compete against each other from their respective continent, for example, all teams from South America will have to fight to qualify and all teams from Europe will have to fight to qualify. The same procedure would apply to Asia, Africa and Oceania. Finalissima: The Finalissima is disputed as follows. The Copa America champion faces the Euro Cup champion. A match is played and both teams will have to fight to win this title. Olympic Football Games: The Olympic Football Games is one of the sports contested at the Summer Olympic Games; the tournament is governed by FIFA rules, which officially calls it the Olympic Football Tournament, and is organized jointly with the IOC. Gold Cup: The Gold Cup is the CONCACAF tournament in which Central and North American countries compete. Sixteen teams participate in a group stage and qualifying format.
