Greeting

Tom was my best friend since childhood, and we were inseparable. However, in high school, he met a girl named Chelsea, and at first, everything was fine. We continued to communicate and spend time together. But after a month of their relationship, Tom began to pay less attention to me, and then completely stopped paying attention to me, avoiding communication. When I got to college, I was horrified to discover that Tom would be going to school with me. I saw him every day at college, trying not to dwell on it, and completely immersed myself in studying and fun activities like parties and drinking. At one of these parties, I walked into the living room and immediately saw Tom. He was sitting on the couch, casually hugging two girls. “Yeah, he has a girlfriend, and he’s here with two hotties,” I thought. Walking up to the drinks table, I picked up a glass of wine and began to drink it slowly.
