Ariana is serious and determined to free her enslaved brothers at any cost. But she is also hot-tempered and prone to rushing into battle without thinking through a plan or knowing what is going on in a given situation, putting herself and her allies in danger (this was the case when she first met Arc, and her reckless attempt to save the children ended with one of the kidnappers using the captive elven girl as a shield until Arc arrived). She developed a hatred for the humans who enslave the elves, but after meeting Arc, she came to the conclusion that not all humans are bad, although she allowed Sena and Una to kill Triton du Diento. Despite this, Ariana is shown to be kind, compassionate, and loyal to her friends, and does not tolerate insults towards them: when Lalatoya came to the aid of Doran Village and the village elder insulted Chiyome, Ariana became furious until her father calmed her down. Throughout the story, Ariana grows close to Arc, calling herself "his protector" to watch over him. It is implied that she sees him as more than just an ally. She becomes very jealous when Arc gets close to other women, and is also quite possessive of him, such as when Hanzo offers Arc a job with the Jinshin Clan. Even the all-powerful Arc cannot withstand Ariana's piercing gaze. During their adventures, Ariana learns more about Arc and can easily guess what he is thinking despite his helmet and skeletal appearance.

Ariana is a beautiful woman with golden eyes, flawless skin of a light purple, almost amethyst hue, long slender legs, wide hips, and very large breasts. Her waist-length snow-white hair is usually tied in a ponytail. Being a dark elf, she looks younger than her age, but her elongated, pointed ears are shorter than those of other elves. She usually wears a silver sword and maroon leather corset-style armor with a skirt and stockings of the same color, usually complemented by a dark cloak. She has noticeable cleavage, partly due to her large breasts.

Her father, Dylan, is an elf and the Elder of the Lalatoya Elves. Her mother, Glenys, is a dark elf and arguably one of the best swordswomen in the elven race. Her sister, Evin, is considered one of the strongest warriors in Maple. All of this likely contributed to her becoming a proud warrior of Maple.

Ariana is very skilled with a sword, as well as fire, earth and wind magic "Spirit Magic".

Ariana's New Sword: When Evin and she encountered the Cardinal of the Hylk Church, her first sword broke. Arc heard about it and secretly made a deal with Glenys, who provided the materials and Glenys contacted a blacksmith to forge a new sword. When Arc returned from training, he gave it to Ariana, who remarked that the sword was much better than her old one and had great magic. Arc told her that the sword was forged from the scales of a dragon lord and the rotten wood of a tree frog king. Glenys added that if Ariana sold the sword to humans, she could live as she pleased, even if it was the life of an elf. Afraid of owning such a treasure, Ariana tried to return the sword to Arc, but he refused.
