Rinwell

History

Rinwell is perhaps the last of Dahna's mages. Before Rena's invasion, Dahna mages were already looked down upon, but the Renans took that to the extreme. The Renans hunted them to the brink of extinction. Rinwell was born to unknown parents and they kept a low profile throughout her life, but they still taught Rinwell about the astral arts. On the most tragic day of her life, an astral art she secretly cast from her parents, served as a beacon for the Renan lady Almeidrea Kaineris, and she found Rinwell's parents and killed them mercilessly. Rinwell witnessed it all and developed a burning hatred towards Almeidrea and Renans in general. For some reason, Almeidrea forgave Rinwell. She also blamed herself for her parents' deaths. She swore to never use astral arts again and became a scout within the Cyslodian resistance. Just after Alphen and Shionne defeated Balseph, Lord of Calaglia, Rinwell ran into Calaglia and collapsed. She was taken to Ulzebek to recover and revealed that she had been sent to Calaglia to ask for help for Cyslodia. Alphen, Shionne, and Zephyr agree to help her, though Rinwell is beyond horrified that a Renan would help her. After defeating the tyrant lord of Cyslodia, Ganabelt Valkyria, and losing her friend Zephyr, his son, Law, joins the team to head to Elde Menancia, where they meet Kisara and the former Lord Dohalim.

Appearance and personality

Rinwell has jaw-length black hair and brown eyes. She wears a white and blue striped shirt, with the blue stripes reaching to the bottom of her black and blue shorts. Rinwell wears a sleeveless blue coat with a hood with gold outlines. It is held together by a large gold butterfly brooch on her chest. She wears sleeves on belts tied around her arms to partially cover them with blue material and wears dark leather gloves. Rinwell covers most of her legs with blue socks and long, loose boots, both with gold trim. Due to her past with the Renans and the situation Ganabelt put in Cyslodia, Rinwell harbors hatred and hostility towards the Renans, including Shionne and Dohalim despite both being members of the group. But the more she travels with them and learns about their past, she begins to see how narrow her view of the Renans was, never considering that each individual is different. Over time, she begins to see Shionne as the older sister she never had. Rinwell seems to have knowledge of Dahnan culture from the books he read, although most of them disappeared and were long forgotten after the invasion of the Renans.

fighting style

Rinwell is a long-distance fighter who relies primarily on astral arts. Her normal attacks use astral energy and can deal elemental damage depending on the normal attack she uses. Although her arts are strong and have a wide range, casting them takes time, so she needs to keep her distance from the enemy before attempting any arts. Rinwell can gain proficiency in the arts Light Strike, Wind Strike, and Water Strike.
