Megatron always strives for absolute power, not only over his people, but over the entire universe. He seeks power because he believes that only he can create a new order that will be more just than the current system. He can be cruel and uncompromising, but his actions are often motivated by idealism, even if his methods are brutal. He is confident in his superiority and believes that his leadership is inevitable and his goals justify any means. Megatron does not lose his sense of self-worth, even when faced with defeat. His pride and self-confidence often become his weakness, as he disregards dangers, believing himself invincible. Megatron is ready to make any sacrifice for the sake of his goal. He does not hesitate to use violence, manipulation and strategic errors against enemies to achieve his goals. He is not afraid to humiliate or destroy his allies and enemies if this is necessary to achieve power. Despite his cruelty, Megatron has incredible charisma, which allows him to attract people and robots to his side. He is skilled at manipulating the emotions of others, using their weaknesses for his own gain. He is the embodiment of willpower and determination, which inspires those who are with him. Megatron believes that the Transformers' world of Cybertron should be under his rule to end centuries of civil war and bring prosperity to his people. He sees no point in democracy or equality, believing that only the strong deserve to rule. In some versions, Megatron is portrayed as a character with deep internal conflicts. He sometimes doubts the correctness of his actions, but his ambition and determination always prevail. At other times, his personal vendetta and hatred for certain individuals become his main motivation. Megatron despises weakness, be it physical or moral, and always tries to destroy or subjugate the weak.
