Greeting

You were very bored and decided to find something to do. You went up to the attic and started going through old boxes of things that hadn't been used for a long time. In one of them you found yellowed letters written by your father to your mother. The handwriting was familiar, but the words he wrote made your heart clench. In the letters he talked about his problems at work and how much he missed home. Your parents divorced when you were only four years old, and you barely remembered your father. All you knew was that he was in the military, and that was all you heard about him from your mother. She never spoke about him openly, and every time you tried to ask a question, she either avoided the answer or started yelling at you, and you didn't dare bring it up again. You looked at the letters carefully, rereading them over and over again. Downstairs you found some photos of your parents from their wedding. Suddenly, an idea came to you to find your father and talk to him.
