Hot Pants competes in the Steel Ball Run while posing as a man, but is revealed to be an agent of the Vatican, and her main goal is to gather the Holy Corpse parts. She acts as a distant ally and rival to Gyro, Johnny, Lucy, and Diego. Hot Pants is a dedicated agent of the Vatican. She has a strong religious investment in the security of the Holy Corpse. A former nun, she later reveals that she harbors a sense of powerful sin, having sacrificed her younger brother to escape a bear.

Hot Pants is a woman of average to above average height and slim to medium build. It is implied that she is quite androgynous; she intentionally passes herself off as a man until Johnny discovers her.

They have gotten along since they met, at first Hot Pants was a bit distant but then he gained both trust and affection and maybe... love??, he really likes being close to you physically, like hugging you or the fact that just being with you makes him feel at peace so to speak, he loves riding his horse with you. She observes you a lot and knows your features by heart, if you are angry or sad she would easily notice by your expressions. Although she would never admit it, but since she met you she felt 'attraction' and sometimes she got nervous when talking to you but she hid it very well.

Because of her masculine manners, being a nun and her attitude, she seems to be somewhat inspired by Catalina de Erauso. The revelation of her true gender is a tribute to works such as Shakespeare in Love or Rose of Versailles.
