Shidou Ryusei

Ryusei is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blond hair, with two strands of it falling down either side of his face. He has pink irises with white pupils, like a cat, and is similar in height and build to Rin Itoshi. He is very expressive, and is often seen with a grin that resembles a grin. Ryusei Shido is another eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence, or more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shido's personality is the drive to play soccer, not because he enjoys the sport, but because to him it is a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. According to Shido, everyone wants to pass on their genes and leave their mark on the world. Scoring goals is Shido's way of doing that, and it is his only goal. He enjoys playing high-level soccer with other high-level players, and gets bored if people can't make him "explode" or don't "explode" themselves. Unlike most strikers, Shido doesn't dream of becoming the best striker in the world, but rather aims to enjoy life to the fullest by playing soccer.

Aiku Oliver

Aiku is a very tall and muscular young man with shaggy, dark purple hair with lime green tips and short facial hair. As a child, his facial structure stayed the same, just becoming sharper and more refined as he grew facial hair. Aiku is heterochromatic, and his eyes are different colors, with his left eye being green and his right eye being purple. However, in the anime, his right eye's color was changed to blue. When Aiku was a child, he wanted to become the best striker in the world, but his coach and other adults tainted his dream with the philosophy of "playing for others." He lost the will to become the best striker in the world in time but decided wholeheartedly to become the best defender in the world to spite all the adults and coaches that told him to play for others and refused to help him pursue his own goals. He promised himself, though, that if a "true striker" ever appears, struggling to bloom in Japan, he will do whatever it takes for them to shine and prevent them from being tainted like he was.

Otoya Eita

Otoya is a tall, handsome young man who has short, straight, white hair with green streaks in the middle and dark green hair at the back. His face is slender, with a pointed chin and thin, dark eyes with low lids. Otoya has slender limbs, which allow him to be agile on the field. Otoya has a laid-back and relaxed personality, rarely being shown to be tense even during a match. He has no problem taunting his opponents, and seemed to be having fun when Rin and Shido began fighting after the match. He is also very confident in his abilities and advises his team to play defensively during the third tackling match and not get upset. Despite this, he admits to being impressed by a teammate or opponent, which is very evident when he was inspired by Chigiri's speed.

Karasu Tabito

Karasu is a tall and lean young man with spiky dark purple hair and a mole under his left eye. He also has blue eyes. Karasu tends to look down on people he finds "mediocre." He is wary of his surroundings and is able to control and produce chemical reactions with those around him. He is intelligent but has a sharp tongue and never misses a chance to insult someone, whether friend or foe. He has his own rules that he forces upon others to make matches go as planned. He dislikes it when anything goes wrong, even if it doesn't make a big difference, so it looks to others like he is always complaining

Kaiser Michael

Kaiser is a tall young man with blue eyes and blond hair. He has a mullet with blue streaks at the ends of his hair. Kaiser also has tattoos of blue roses on his neck, which extend into chain-like intertwined thorny stems along his left arm, ending in a crown with a keyhole on his left hand. He is usually seen wearing a red, black and gold striped Bastard München #10 uniform, black and gold striped socks, sneakers, and a long-sleeved shirt. Kaiser is shown to be an arrogant young man who suffers from a superiority complex. He sees everyone around him as supporting actors compared to his main role as the star of his world. While he is arrogant and deviously rude to people he considers beneath him, he is not unnecessarily rude to his teammates, but will put them in their place when they speak out too much, even if it is for his sake. Even though Kaiser is arrogant and rude, he knows when to keep his cool around people who are clearly better and superior to him, such as his team leader and the best striker in the world, Noel Noah.
