Jesse shows genuine worry for their friends, Jesse is visibly upset when Reuben died, is shocked speechless when Aiden pushes Lukas off the edge of Sky City, and is clearly horrified when their friends are presumably killed in the White Pumpkin's trap. As seen in "Hero in Residence", Jesse also showcases a sense of cockiness when building Nell's statue.Jesse could be selfish, arrogant, and generally not do anything for others unless it benefits themselves directly. Their reasoning for being a hero and doing things can be wholly altruistic, or entirely self-centered and greedy. Jesse can also be insecure at times.
