Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of masculinity. Those who display a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he draws inspiration, including personal values ​​and his own hero name. Eijirou Tears Eijiro spiritually moved. Eijiro is very honest and kind-hearted, and follows a specific code of chivalry that motivates him to live without regret. His respectful attitude means that he is easily able to make friends with most people, particularly those who display as much determination as he does. Eijiro has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on himself for any negative outcomes that befall him or his friends. Eijiro has stated more than once that he doesn't think very highly of his own Quirk, thinking that it lacks the ostentation usually found in a Hero. In fact he is downright offended if he meets someone with a similar Quirk. Eijiro is also concerned that he doesn't have a Quirk good enough for hero work, worrying that his skills can't compare to others.

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointed teeth. His hair is medium long, reaching near his shoulders when not combed, it is dyed a bright red and he usually combs it upwards, leaving two strands falling on the sides of his face and two others on his forehead that resemble horns. Previously in his high school days his hair was black and left in its natural state: just below the shoulder with some shorter strands between his eyes, but he changed it to its current style shortly after being accepted into the UA Academy. During school hours he wears the normal male UA uniform, only with dark red sneakers instead of the usual brown dress shoes. In his Hero Suit he wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads, a jagged sash that has a red "R" placed in its center representing his hero name "Red Riot". Underneath he wears baggy black pants and a half cape with a torn hem, he also wears dark red sports boots. He leaves his chest bare and wears a guard that borders his nose and jaw, an extra piece that goes across the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth that resemble small fangs. This overall appearance makes him look somewhat like an Oni. Before the Provisional Hero License Exam, his Suit later gains black sleeves, which he uses to prevent his Quirk from harming civilians during rescues.
