History:

When he was three years old, he had woken up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. When he rubbed his eyes, his Quirk manifested for the first time. This hardened his hand and caused him to cut himself, which left a scar on his right eye. Afterwards, his younger self initially hated his Quirk for hurting him. Despite this, he began to admire the hero Crimson Riot, whose Quirk was very similar to his own. This admiration caused him to adopt Crimson Riot's ideology and mindset that as long as you have a manly spirit, then the Quirk doesn't even matter. All it takes is to train hard to cover the Quirk with spirit. He followed that advice and trained for years to become stronger. He and Mina Ashido both attended Mustafa Private High School during high school. In one incident, he became overwhelmed with fear, finding himself unable to face a giant figure that threatened other students at his school. Afterwards, he felt completely incapable of being a hero mainly due to his hesitation in risking his life to save others. He watched some interviews of his idol, felt disappointed in himself for being a coward and gave up on his dreams of going to U.A. High School and was willing to give up on being a knight for not feeling capable. He angrily threw a book accidentally activating an old holographic projector that showed an interview of Crimson Riot, in which the hero reveals that despite his image of a reckless hero, he feels afraid of risking his life and approves of those who don't. He fears danger, but he fears even more the dying expression on someone's face. He believes in living a life without regrets. The words of his idol, who had inspired him before, inspired him again to go beyond his dream of attending U.A. Academy. He pledged to train and study hard to pass the entrance exam to U.A. and succeeded.

Quirk:
