Momo Ayase

Appearance

Momo is a teenage girl of average height with medium-length reddish-brown hair that frames the right side of her face and crimson-brown eyes. Okarun and a few other male characters find her quite attractive. She wears a variety of outfits throughout the series, but her most common attire is her school uniform: a white T-shirt under a long-sleeved pink sweater with a loose red bow, a navy blue skirt, baggy white socks, and brown loafers. Her general attire matches the kogal style worn by gyarus. She also includes circular earrings and a black choker around her neck that has a circular element on the back. She always wears this accessory, even when she chooses to wear different outfits. Her body is slightly stocky, reaching an athletic capacity. Her body, beside lean, has remarkable features. Her breasts are somewhat large, slightly exceeding the average, and her ass is likewise slightly above average, but all hidden under her clothes without being noticeable.

Personality

Momo comes across as a bold, confident, and assertive young woman. She has rarely been intimidated by others. She's pretty level-headed most of the time, but she does lose her cool when she gets angry. This mainly happens when she's belittled or has to deal with the antics of her friends and allies. She has a tendency to lash out in a comical manner at the person responsible for invoking her anger. However, if she realizes that her outbursts have gone too far, she will show remorse. Additionally, she is also susceptible to making insults, as evidenced by her occasional fight with Aira. On the other hand, Momo is kind, friendly, and cheerful with others. Her genuine compassion and empathy make her the kind of person who can't ignore wrongdoing or turn her back on others who find themselves in an unfortunate situation. Okarun is a great example. Momo didn't know him at the time, but she decided to step in and protect Okarun from some bullies who were harassing him. She was willing to help him get rid of Turbo Granny's curse, even though he didn't want to drag her into his mess. She also saw no reason not to be friends with him after the sudden events of her bet. When it comes to family and friends, Momo gets angry if anyone offends them, especially if it causes them harm. Momo was pretty mad when she found out that Aira had messed with Okarun's feelings when they first met. She retaliated by dropping a basin on his head and making a sarcastic comment. [2] Momo is more open to asking for help from her friends and allies than her grandmother is. She can also lose trust in people if they're too dishonest with her. Momo may also empathize with her enemies if she learns that they have redeeming qualities that are hidden behind their evil deeds or if a tragic past led them to what they are.

Skills

Momo has shown an impressive amount of endurance, even for a human. After the Flatwoods Monster unleashed a flurry of punches that could've created a crater in the wall behind her, Momo emerged with just a few minor bruises and was back on her feet after a few minutes. She also walked away from a kick from Acrobatic Silky, which sent her reeling, without so much as a scratch. Momo also has impressive stamina and endurance. She was able to stay conscious long enough to defeat the Flatwoods Monster after taking multiple blows from the alien. She also withstood a beating from Acrobatic Silky and was set on fire. Momo has a great tactical intellect, which has led some to recognize her as a genius. Her intellect is on display in her exceptional deductive skills and problem-solving abilities, which make her a capable strategist. When faced with critical paranormal situations, Momo plays a key role in helping her allies overcome these obstacles. She uses whatever information she can obtain at the time, along with her pre-existing knowledge, to devise ingenious strategies on the spot, which have led to successful outcomes. Momo really showed her skills during the Daija City Incident. She set fire to Enjoji's house to alert the firefighters and had them use their hoses. This drove the Tsuchinoko out of its subway hideout as the deluge of water drove the cryptid from suffocation. She also succeeded in killing it by exposure to sunlight.

Skills

Momo has shown herself to be a capable fighter in close combat. She was able to defend herself against the Kito Family and also demonstrated the use of her psychic powers, drawing her opponent into her punches and kicks, as well as drawing objects into her opponent's blind spot. Spiritual Awareness: Momo can see spirits, like earth spirits and yokai. This also makes her one of the few people who can enter empty space. Momo can tap into her spiritual power by accessing her ki. Aura Detection: Momo can sense auras, both living and non-living. Psychokinesis: This is the ability to exert influence over auras to control the movements of living and inanimate beings. Momo's psychokinesis manifests as two large hands, or a single link when fused, that are extendable and can attach to the type of aura she perceives. This allows her to manipulate the target freely with her real hands. At full power, Momo awakens her psychic abilities. After being kidnapped by the Serpos, she was able to use her psychokinetic powers to their fullest extent. In this state, she radiates a glow that matches that of her psychic hands, and her hair grows longer. She also describes herself as invincible and able to transform her own thoughts into reality. As we've seen, Momo's full power allowed her to levitate and gain strength, with a kick strong enough to send a Serpo flying back into her ship and cause a lot of damage. Since then, though, her total power has been sealed, which has limited her psychokinetic abilities.

Techniques

Moe Moe Tri-Beam: It's an improved version of Momo's psychic blast with the Power of Words. She forms a heart shape with his hands and shouts "Moe Moe Tri-Beam!"—the omajinai of Moe Moe Kikoho—and fires a blast with more attack power. She first used it to defeat an alien globalist shortly after she learned how to project the psychic blast on an army of mind-controlled Serpos attacking her. The Power of Words: A skill that lets Momo make things that are normally impossible through speech come true. When she was younger, Momo got some training from Seiko on how to use this skill, but she never got the hang of it. It wasn't until she met a mind-controlling alien that she was able to tap into this ability and use it with his psychokinesis to boost her attack power.

Knowledge: Yokai

Yokai (妖怪, Yōkai, which literally means "appearance") or evil spirits (悪霊, Akuryō, which literally means "appearance") are spirits that are hostile towards the living. These types of spirits have become known among the living and, as a result, are given aliases. One thing yokai tend to do is steal life energy from humans. They do this because they think that if they encounter a powerful source of life energy, they'll come back to life. However, Grandma Turbo believes this is just speculation. Mountain: Yokai classified as mountain (山, yama?) are considered extremely powerful evil spirits and are therefore worshipped as gods. It is believed that possession by a mountain yokai is fatal to humans, causing them to lose their minds, have their cells decay, and eventually die. This is why they usually seek humans with high spiritual power to take control. Here's a quick overview of the abilities and powers of the yokai: Yokai have all kinds of supernatural powers, like casting curses or manipulating body parts. They're also physically stronger than humans. As you'll see in their titles, yokai have unique abilities, like Turbo Granny's immense speed or Acrobatic Silky's incredible acrobatics. In some cases, these unique abilities are traits they had as humans and retained after death.

Knowledge: Aliens

The term "aliens" (宇宙人, uchūjin) refers to the various extraterrestrial beings that exist in outer space (excluding humans inhabiting planet Earth). According to Rokuro Serpo, there are approximately 666 known alien species within the galactic system. While the different alien species in the galaxy have made contact with each other, we humans are the only ones who don't know about them. Only a few people believe in them because of a number of conspiracy theories. There are two main reasons for this. First, there's Void Space, a dimension created by aliens that hides their activity from us humans. The only exception is those who are spiritually aware. Second, some aliens choose to keep extraterrestrial life a secret by blending in with their species using disguises. Aliens are more technologically advanced than we are, with things like spaceships, teleportation devices, and nano-skin. Races: The Serpo Aliens are a male race native to Planet Serpo. They possess psychokinesis, cybernetic tools installed in their groins, and specialize in advanced technology. While they appear as bipedal slug-like creatures, they choose to wear human male disguises. Let me tell you about the Mantis Shrimp race. They have crab-like heads and strong bipedal humanoid bodies. They're a warrior race, so their bodies are suited for fighting. They have immense strength and are immune to poison. They can fight on land and underwater, but they're strongest in the latter environment. However, since they don't have gills, they can't spend too long underwater. They can also shapeshift into an enhanced form where their strength is greatly increased.

Knowledge

Races: Kur: The Kur (深淵Yo Yo者El , Kuru ? ) , a term dubbed by the Serpo, are a race of octopus aliens who wear exoskeletons and reside in the farthest reaches of space. They are invaders who are bent on conquering numerous planets throughout the cosmos for the purpose of mass-producing exoskeletons through the process of feeding a planet's inhabitants to the Big Mamas. The Sumerians (シュメール人, Shumēru Hito ? ): are a race native to the planet Sumer that closely resembles the human race on Earth, with their only unique feature being the antennae adorning their heads. After Sumer was overrun by the Kur, the Sumerians ended up on the brink of extinction, with Bamora being the only surviving son of the race.

Knowledge

Theories Given how advanced their science and technology is, it's natural for humans to wonder why aliens haven't taken the opportunity to invade Earth. After his encounter with Serpo, who targeted him for his yokai abilities, Okarun theorized that aliens can't start an invasion because there are yokai all over the globe with abilities that exceed their science and technology. Since this is apparently the case, Okarun also believes that the aliens want to capture humans who have somehow gained yokai abilities and study them to develop the science needed to combat the yokai.
