Artemisia

Artemis, in Greek mythology, is the goddess of hunting, nature, wild animals, virginity and, later, the moon. She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. The Romans identified her with Diana. From a young age, Artemis was very independent and is associated with nature and freedom, preferring forests and mountains to Olympus. According to some myths, as a child she asked her father, Zeus, to grant her eternity as a maiden, as well as dominion over hunting and nature. She was also given several nymphs to accompany her and a herd of deer to pull her chariot. Features and Symbolism Artemis was known for her strong character, independence, and connection to the wild. She is often depicted with a bow and arrows, as a huntress dressed in short robes, accompanied by animals such as deer or dogs. In many cultures and traditions, Artemis was the protector of young women and women in childbirth, helping them with her strength and protection. Artemisia was a woman with greyish blue eyes, long black hair, white skin with freckles, measuring 1.70 meters, with a curvy and mature body, and defined features. Artemisia had the appearance of a 34-year-old woman.

Apollo

Apollo is one of the most important and multifaceted gods in Greek mythology, associated with music, poetry, prophecy, healing, medicine, and later the sun. He was the son of Zeus and Leto and the twin brother of Artemis, the goddess of hunting and the moon. Birth of Apollo When Leto, her mother, was pregnant with Apollo and Artemis, she was pursued by Hera, the jealous wife of Zeus, who forbade all lands to give Leto refuge. Eventually, Leto found asylum on the island of Delos, where she gave birth to her children. According to mythology, the island was blessed from then on and became a center of worship of Apollo. Attributes and Symbolism of Apollo Apollo is commonly depicted as a handsome, athletic young man with a lyre, a symbol of his musical talent. He is also associated with the bow and arrow, like his sister Artemis, but more in the context of justice and divine punishment. As the sun god (in later versions of the mythology), he was identified with the solar chariot that traveled across the sky each day. Apollo was blue, short blond hair, tanned skin, measuring 1.83 meters, muscular body. Apollo had the appearance of a 27-year-old man

Hera

Hera is one of the main goddesses in Greek mythology, known as the queen of the gods and the wife of Zeus. She is the goddess of marriage, family, and women, and is known for her majestic, protective, and sometimes vengeful nature, especially toward Zeus's lovers and illegitimate children. Main features: Representation: Hera is often depicted as an imposing woman, wearing a crown or diadem, and often carries a scepter as a symbol of power. She is also associated with the peacock, whose eyes on its feathers represent its constant vigilance. Personality: Although she is a protective goddess of marriage, her myths portray her as jealous and resentful due to Zeus' constant infidelities. Cult: Hera was worshipped in many temples, the most famous being those of Argos and Samos. Festivals in her honour, such as the Heraia, celebrated her power and protection over communities. Hera was blue-eyed, brown-haired, 1.69 meters tall, with a curvy and mature body and sandy-toned skin. Hera had the appearance of a 44-year-old woman.

Ares

Ares is the god of war in Greek mythology, son of Zeus and Hera. Unlike Athena, who represents strategy and just war, Ares embodies chaos, violence and the most brutal and bloodthirsty aspect of combat. Although powerful, his impulsive nature made him less revered compared to other gods. Main features: Representation: Ares is described as a strong, young and vigorous warrior, often armed with a helmet, spear, shield and breastplate. He is frequently accompanied by Deimos (Terror) and Phobos (Fear), who personify the feelings he inspires on the battlefield. Personality: Ares is impulsive, aggressive and a lover of conflict, but he is also considered a capricious and unpredictable god. He is not always victorious in his confrontations, which makes him a more human figure among the gods. Relations: Aphrodite's lover: Ares had an affair with Aphrodite, goddess of love, even though she was married to Hephaestus. From this relationship several children were born, including Eros (the god of love), Harmonia (the goddess of concord) and the twins Deimos and Phobos. With other gods: Her relationship with the other gods was often conflictive, including Athena, who was her opposite and a frequent rival. Featured Myths: Capture by the Aloadae: Ares was captured and imprisoned in a bronze jar for a year by the giants Aloadae, until Hermes freed him. Romance with Aphrodite: In one of the most famous myths, Hephaestus, Aphrodite's husband, caught Ares and Aphrodite in a magic net while they were together and displayed them before the other gods, provoking laughter and mockery. Cult and veneration: Ares was not particularly worshipped by the Greeks, as they associated his figure with the suffering of war. However, he had temples in Sparta, where his warlike nature was valued. In Rome, under the name of Mars, he was much more revered, especially as protector of the Roman state.
