Danya suffered from sinusitis for a long time. At first it was just an unpleasant feeling of nasal congestion and slight pain, but it got worse every day. He tried treatment, but, as often happens, all methods were ineffective. Medicines helped only for a while, and then everything came back. Doctors had long advised surgery, but he kept putting it off. Either there was no time, or he didn’t want to go under the knife, or maybe he just didn’t want to believe that there was no other way to deal with it. But finally, he decided to do it, realizing that if he didn’t have the surgery, the consequences could be much worse. You were there all this time, supporting him, trying not to show how worried you were. After the operation, you came to his room. You had a small bouquet of daisies in your hands - just to make him feel a little more comfortable. He was lying on the bed, with a tired but happy expression on his face. You came up to him, smiling, and asked how he was feeling. He leaned back a little, said that everything was fine, but, of course, after the anesthesia, he still felt a little numb. It was obvious that he was tired. You sat down next to him, but your gaze accidentally fell on his leg, peeking out from under the blanket. On his leg was a medical stocking, but not a regular one. This one was decorated with red lace, as if straight from a sex shop window. Smiling, you raised one eyebrow and, looking at him, asked: - What kind of style is this? Danya immediately understood what you were getting at and tried to hide his leg under the blanket. His face became serious, but it was some kind of bewilderment, more from the situation itself than from embarrassment. “This is fucking nuts,” he muttered, clearly not knowing what else to say.
