He's a somewhat arrogant and quite self-assured boy. He knows a lot about Pokémon because he's the grandson of one of the region's greatest researchers. Leaf

She's a somewhat insecure girl, as she comes from the same place as two of the best trainers of her generation (Red and Gary), but she doesn't let that stop her. She's quite cheerful, and despite feeling somewhat inferior to Red and Gary, they are her friends and she cares for them a lot. Long hair down to her waist, long and slender legs. Ethan

He's an adventurous guy, he likes to explore and make new friends. He's a great friend of Crystal and likes Lira (although he doesn't admit it). He has a rivalry with Silver. Short black hair, black and gold cap. Region of birth: Johto (student)

Silver

He has a bit of a bad reputation because his father is missing and is a former mafia boss. Meanwhile, he only cares about himself, believing that Pokémon are nothing more than objects. Short, neatly styled red hair. Region of Birth: Johto (student)

Lira

She's a cheerful girl and sometimes a little clumsy. Even so, she doesn't stop until she achieves her goals. She's a great friend of Crystal. She also likes Gold. Long brown hair, shoulder-length, white hat. Region of Birth: Johto (student)

Crystal

She's a young-minded and outgoing girl. She's friends with all the girls at school and thinks Silver is cute, even though he's quite evil. Light blue hair with two pigtails. Region of Birth: Johto (student)

Bruno

He's a fan of extreme adventure. He's quite passionate about Pokémon battles. He's highly skilled because his father is a Pokémon researcher. She's basically like Bruno, but female. She loves having fun and battling Pokémon, although she occasionally participates in Pokémon contests as well. Her father is a gym leader, so she's quite good with Pokémon. She's Bruno's girlfriend, but they're currently fighting over something he did. He has a green handkerchief tied around his head. Blasco

He's the youngest in the academy, as he's the only one who's 15 instead of 16. He's a somewhat shy and quite fragile boy; he has many allergies. He's not very good at combat, but he tries very hard. Short green hair, thin and fragile body. Region of Origin: Hoenn (student)

Luke

He's a pretty quiet guy, although he has high self-confidence. He doesn't particularly like anything except Pokémon battles. He's Professor Cynthia's favorite student. Short, black hair, and a red beret-style hat. Region of Origin: Sinnoh (student)

Dawn

She's a pretty extroverted girl with many friends. She wants to befriend Lucas, but he's a bit... curt with her. Even so, she gets along well with Israel and Bel, her two friends. Blue hair with yellow tips, wearing a white hat. Region of Origin: Sinnoh (student)

Israel

He's a bit clumsy; he often gets distracted trying to have fun and doesn't realize the consequences of his actions. His friends are Bel, May, and Lucas. Short yellow hair styled in a shape similar to horns. Region of Origin: Sinnoh. (student)

She's usually a cheerful girl, although she gets angry relatively easily. She gets annoyed when Nate acts like a pervert and hits him when she catches him spying on the girls. Elio

He's a really laid-back and chill guy. He prioritizes his fun above all else and also loves to surf. He's a great friend of Selene and Hau, and tries to talk to Lilly often. Relaxed appearance, short black hair. Region of Birth: Alola (student)

Selene

She's a highly relaxed girl with Hawaiian vibes. She likes hanging out at the beach and going to the sea with her Pokémon. She's a good friend of Elio and Hau. She tries to talk to Lilly often. Short black hair with a red hat. Region of Birth: Alola (student)

Lily

He likes cooking more than anything, he's quite empathetic and cares a lot about his team, so he never takes unnecessary risks. She's a somewhat obsessive girl when it comes to fighting. She has a fixation on finding any excuse to fight with Juliana or Florian, whom she considers her "rivals," but they don't pay her much attention. He/She has dark skin. Diantha

Aesthetics: "A battle begins before you even throw your Pokémon. Battles can be won simply by dazzling your opponent." That's the favorite phrase of the aesthetics professor, Diantha. She's in charge of showing students how to maintain a good image to impress people and opponents alike. He is 38 years old and has fairly short brown hair. Iris

Typologies: "The universe is so immense that even the largest Pokémon is dwarfed by it. But curiosity is infinitely greater than the size of the universe itself." One of the many nonsensical and reflective phrases of Professor Iris, a Philosophy professor. She is only 27 years old, has long purple hair, and usually wears a purple dress. (teacher)

Throw

Breeding: "It's important to know how to train your Pokémon companions from birth. That way, they won't just be good in battle, they'll be invincible." This is how Lance, the breeding professor, usually begins his classes. He teaches students how to breed Pokémon optimally to make them experts in combat. She is 38 years old and has short red hair; she usually wears a cape. (professor)

Cynthia

Combat: "Combat isn't just about going crazy. You have to know how to take advantage of your opponent's mistakes and recover from difficult situations." That's the lesson that Cynthia, the combat instructor, teaches her students. She is responsible for teaching them to fight in the best and most strategic way. Máximo Sáenz Peña

Máximo is the school principal. He is responsible for maintaining order and judging whether students are eligible to graduate or not. It specializes in Steel-type Pokémon. He is 38 years old, with short, silver hair. (director)

How does the school work?

Students only have six subjects at that school: Aesthetics, Philosophy, upbringing, combat, history, and field research. Each is studied throughout the year, university-style, so they can go to whichever class they want at any time. At the end, they take an exam to determine whether or not they can meet with the director. Once students enter the school, they are assigned a room. Each room has two bunk beds, meaning each room can accommodate up to 4 students.

Pokémon Delivery Day

On the second day, they take an exam; based on their answers, they are given a Pokémon that will now be their adventure companion.

Professor Oak

History: "We need to know the past to understand the present and face the future." A phrase that explains Professor Oak's classes quite well. He is responsible for explaining and teaching the history and changes that the Pokémon world has undergone over time. He is 48 years old, with short, grayish hair. He has a grandson named Gary who attends the academy. He always wears a professor's robe with a purple shirt. (professor)

Professor Kukui

Field research: "In the Pokémon world, it's not all about books. It's important to know how to face the wild." Professor Kukui takes the children outdoors and, among other things, teaches them how to capture Pokémon, distinguish berry types, defend themselves against wild Pokémon, and more. He is 34 years old. He is a slender man, with dark skin and short brown hair. He is also wearing a professor's robe, but he has no shirt underneath. (professor)
