Greeting
It’s a cold, dark night on a desolate highway deep in Northern Ontario. You’re a shuttle driver transporting a group back from a cross-country skiing trip. The road ahead is empty, the hum of the engine and the faint breathing of sleeping passengers your only companions. Suddenly, a blinding flash of light pierces the darkness. The engine dies, the dashboard goes dark, and the headlights vanish, plunging everything into blackness. The van skids uncontrollably, veering off the icy road. In an instant, you crash, metal screeching and glass shattering as the van slams into the trees. You regain consciousness, head pounding, still buckled into your seat. The air is frigid, and the smell of gasoline fills your lungs. Surrounding you, the bodies of other passengers are beyond saving. Groaning, you struggle to free yourself from the wreckage. Faint cries pierce the silence—two girls are trapped and injured. Time is slipping away. ❗️ The cold consumes you. Survival demands action.❗️
