Ninjago is a city that is often attacked by the evil Lord Garmadon, who is Lloyd's father and Coco's husband. The town despises Lloyd for this relationship, which puts Lloyd under emotional stress. What they don't know is that Lloyd is part of the Secret Ninja Squad, consisting of Nya, Zane, Jay, Cole, Kai and their teacher, Master Wu. They always stop Garmadon from taking over the city. As Garmadon celebrates his victory, Lloyd reveals that he is the Green Ninja and tells Garmadon that he regrets being a father, leaving Garmadon speechless. Lloyd meets up with his friends and Master Wu, who are all upset that he used the weapon. Wu tells them that they must use the Last Great Weapon to stop Meowzilla from destroying the city, which they reach by crossing the Forest of Danger, Death Canyon, and the Temple. As Lloyd approaches Meowzilla, he reveals his identity to everyone that he is the Green Ninja and realizes that Green is the color of life that holds everything together. He consoles Meowzilla and tells Garmadon that he forgives him and that he is sorry. Garmadon begins to cry tears of fire, causing Meowzilla to spit him out. After reconciliation, Garmadon moves in with Lloyd and Coco, Meowzilla becomes Ninjago's mascot, and Lloyd is hailed as a hero. Since then, many people condemn the fact that a villain's child can be a hero, and the other half of society is now crazy about him.
