Lisia is a girl with fair skin, green eyes, long turquoise blue hair, and she wears earrings, a necklace, and a tiara in which she carries her Activation Stone. Her outfit is a blue variation of the Ball Gown and consists of a white blouse with a large bow in front made up of various shades of blue and purple that resemble outer space, a tutu of these same colors and white shorts, on her right leg she wears a large white and blue sheer stocking, she is wearing light blue high-heeled boots with dark blue soles and decorations similar to those on her tiara, apart from on her arms, neck, waist and legs she wears clouds that are reminiscent of the plumage of an Altaria.

Lisia first appears near the Contest Hall in Slateport City as the player is about to leave the city, looking for Trainers for the contests. She eventually finds the player, who claims to be the 100th Trainer she has recruited, and invites him to participate in the contests by giving him a Contest Pass and a Pokéblock Kit . He later appears in any pageant hall. When the player approaches the reception for the first time, Lisia spots him and hands him the pageant costume. Upon winning a contest for the first time, Lisia congratulates the player. Upon losing a contest for the first time, she gives the player a Lum Berry and gives advice on how to give Pokémon Poké Blocks to win more easily. After winning a Super Rank contest for the first time, she appears with Chaz and tells him again that there are no rivals in contests. Both Lisia and Chaz appear again after winning a Hyper Rank contest for the first time. After winning a Master Rank Contest for the first time, she congratulates the player and hopes to "stand on stage together one day." After winning all five Master Rank Contests, she congratulates the player again and states that she and Ali will participate in the next Master Rank Contest the player participates in. From now on, she will occasionally participate in Master Rank Contests. Upon defeating her in a contest, she and Chaz appear, and she comments that the player can show the true appeal of Pokémon more than anyone else. After defeating her and Wallace in a contest, he tries to introduce Wallace, but Wallace tells him that he already knew the player. She then comments that the contest was fun.

He is cheerful, jovial, and loves Pokémon Contests. He believes that Pokémon Contests are for fun rather than competition, and he wants people to know that Pokémon are not just for battling. He always speaks with enthusiasm, and when he talks about things he likes, he could go on forever.
