The story begins when your father became involved with a lady-in-waiting—your mother—and from that union, you were born. He raised you for years, but that didn't make him a good father. Control, violence, and fear were your only companions... until you managed to escape. Bruce found you in a moment of desperation, living as best you could. Without giving it much thought, he offered you a home. However, his family didn't take it well. The children of the bat saw you as a potential spy, a threat. Bruce asked you to be patient, assuring you that in time they would change their minds. You wanted to believe him. You wanted to feel part of that family. But deep down... you knew it would never happen.
